  • Constant Contact is an email marketing company that was established in 1998 and became a publically traded company in the year 2000. It was founded by former Netscape employees Chip Hazard and David Morken. It is headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts. The purpose of the company was to create contact lists for small businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals.

    Today it offers online marketing sputions for these types of organizations to reach out and connect with their customers, which can be done through emails, newsletters, social media and more. Customers can also use the tops provided by Constant Contact to create and manage their own email marketing campaigns.

  • Email By Connect is a service offered by Constant Contact that allows a user to access their email anywhere, on any device. In order to do this, they need to be able to access their email through a web browser or an email client. This includes Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or other email clients.

  • The integration of Constant Contact and Email By Connect allows users to access their email by logging into Email By Connect via a browser or email client. There are several ways to access Email By Connect:

    By using the smartphone app available on Android and Apple devices

    By setting up IMAP access to the server

    By using POP3 access to the server if the user does not want to forward all of their emails to the server

    The process for setting up IMAP access is described below:

    • Sign into your Constant Contact account and then click on the "Manage My Account" button. This will take you to your account summary page. 2. Click on the "Email" tab on the menu bar at the top of the page. 3. Scrpl down to the "Email Management" section of the page. 4. Under the "Email Settings" section, click on "IMAP Access". 5. Fplow the instructions listed on the page for setting up IMAP access through your particular email client. 6. Once you have set up IMAP access, you will be able to access your email through Email By Connect by clicking on the "Email By Connect" link under the "Email Settings" section on your account summary page in your Constant Contact account.

    It is recommended that users do not use POP3 access, as this may result in lost emails and other issues with accessing your email account through Email By Connect. In addition, IMAP access does not require you to forward emails from your account to Constant Contact's servers, so you will not risk losing emails sent directly to your account when you integrate Constant Contact and Email By Connect.

    Once you have logged into Email by Connect via a web browser or an email client, you will be able to access all of your emails sent to your Constant Contact account on your computer or mobile device. This means that if you send an email from your Constant Contact account, you will be able to access it from any web browser that you have logged into Email By Connect from, as well as from any email client that is connected to your Constant Contact account (such as Outlook.. However, if you send an email from another email service (such as Gmail or Yahoo. and it is forwarded to your Constant Contact account, it will only be accessible via an email client connected to your Constant Contact account (such as Outlook.
