Now that I have completed writing my introduction and my body paragraphs, I will begin writing my conclusion. Using the notes on the worksheet as a guide, I will write an introductory sentence that summarizes what was previously written in my body paragraphs. In addition, I will incorporate the final point from my intro paragraph into this sentence. This way, my conclusion will refer back to my introduction and explain why I wrote this article in the first place. Next, I will write two or three sentences describing how the integration works at both companies. Then, using the info from the worksheet, I will write a few sentences that explain how the integration could affect other companies in the industry and why they should care. Finally, using the info from the worksheet once again, I will write a few sentences explaining how this sort of integration could affect individuals in society. For example, how can or could personal emails affect society? Once again, I will use the info from the worksheet as a guide to write these sentences. The last sentence in my conclusion should express the main point of the article. For example, if the main point is “It is beneficial for companies to integrate their Constant Contact and Dropbox accounts because…” then the last sentence in the conclusion should read “It is beneficial for companies to integrate their Constant Contact and Dropbox accounts because [reason].” The reason should be one of those reasons listed on your worksheet.
