Hello, my name is ___ and I am a developer for _____. We have been working with Coda and Customerly for the past ___ years. In this paper, I will discuss how we were able to integrate both platforms, and what benefits we gained from integrating them.
Coda is a web-based platform and application framework for creating and managing online websites and web applications. The platform is completely customizable and users can build their own interfaces and functionality without having to write any code.
Customerly is an organized way to manage customer accounts that allows customers to access their billing information and account history. It can be accessed online, by phone, or by email.
Over the years, we had to use multiple different applications to manage our customers and content. Because we were using different applications, we were unable to streamline our workflow and we would often lose track of changes and updates made in other applications and systems. To fix this issue, we integrated Coda and Customerly. By integrating these two platforms together, we were able to centralize our customer management and content management into one place. This allowed us to develop a workflow that was more efficient and streamlined. We were also able to add other features such as online purchasing and invoicing. We were able to add these features thanks to the extensibility of Coda’s data model.
After deciding that we wanted to integrate Coda with Customerly, we had to decide how the integration would take place. There are basically four different ways that you can integrate Coda with another platform or application. You can develop an application that is built on top of Coda, you can extend the Coda data model, you can tailor Coda’s user interface, or you can use Coda’s Web Services API. We chose the integration method of extending the data model. Doing so allowed us to create separate tables in our database, while still being able to carry over existing data between the two platforms. We were also able to call Customerly records via Coda entities. For example, when a User calls Customerly to update their account information, they are redirected to a page that has the form that needs to be filled out. After filling out the form, they are redirected back to Coda with the updated information. Once they are redirected back to Coda, the updated information is written back into the corresponding Customerly row in the database. We are able to do this because of how easily Coda handles external systems via its Web Services API, which is called when the user fills out the form. This is just one example of many common actions that invpve Customerly that are done by an external application that has extended the data model of Coda.
