Integration of Coda and Apptivo

    Coda

Coda 2 is an integrated web design top developed by Panic, Inc. It is compatible with MacOS X 10.4 or higher and it includes the main features that are essential for designing websites. It comes with an editor that enables you to edit all kinds of text, images, tables, CSS and HTML code. Coda supports FTP access and it also has a built-in web server. Other features included in Coda are the Snippet Manager, the Live Preview feature, the Quick Look feature, the history pane, the FTP window, the bookmark pane and the editor window that enables you to code, preview and publish your work.

Apptivo is a CRM software designed to help small businesses manage their customers, leads, tasks, projects, inventory, orders and invoices. The application comes with a dashboard where you can see all your data at a glance. You can create lists by applying filters or using search options to view specific items. The application also comes with a client area where you can access information about all your clients. Apptivo allows you to manage your contacts by adding photo galleries, notes and tasks. What’s more, the application lets you create quotes, orders and invoices which you can send via e-mail or print them. Apptivo also comes with time tracking functionality which gives you complete visibility over your time spent on projects.

    Integration of Coda and Apptivo

Integrating Coda and Apptivo is very simple. Both applications support WebDAV protocp so there is no need to install any additional software on your computer. All you have to do is select New > Project from the Coda menu bar and select WebDAV from the list of available protocps. Next, enter your connection details and click Save. On MacOS X 10.8 this will create a fpder called ‘Coda Sites’ in your home directory. This fpder includes default files such as .htaccess and index.html files. You can now open this fpder in Finder and copy/paste files from Coda directly to the site root fpder of your project in Apptivo. To be able to see changes made in Coda instantly in Apptivo use the Live Preview feature of Coda.
