Coda is a robust web development platform that can be used to build anything from small static sites to large, complex, and highly interactive applications. It was designed to help people learn how to build websites.
ActiveCampaign is the world’s easiest email marketing platform. With the #1 drag-and-drop email builder, powerful automation tops, and another 30+ integrations, it’s the only marketing top you need to make all your marketing work for you.
Integration of Coda and ActiveCampaign is pretty simple. I’m going to walk you through an example using my blog as an example.
I will start by creating a new project in Coda. This will be the project that I will use for this site.
Next, I will create a new page from the “Pages” section of the left sidebar menu. This will be the front page of my blog. Next, I will enter the title of the page, click on the “Header” option from the left sidebar menu, and click on “Add Image” from the right sidebar menu. This will open a file browser where I can upload a photo. After closing the file browser, I will have a header image with a gray background. I want a white background so I will set the image opacity to 0% and set a background cpor of white in the “Background” section from the right sidebar menu.
Next, I will create a new page from the “Pages” section of the left sidebar menu. This will be my about page. Then, I will repeat my earlier steps of uploading an image, setting its opacity to 0%, and setting a background cpor of white.
Now that I have gotten this far, my site looks like this:
Next, I will go to ActiveCampaign and create a new campaign called “Broken Link Builder”. Then, I will set a name and an email address for a welcome message to be sent when a user subscribes to receive emails from me. Then, I will enable webhooks for my site and copy/paste the webhook URL into my webhook settings in Coda. Then, I will save it and close my ActiveCampaign account. The next step is to find some broken links on my site and convert them into useful pages for my readers. To do this, I will use BrokenLinkChecker on my Chrome browser. After using it on each page on my site, this is what I get:
Some broken links were found on your website. https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing/ - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//about-me/ - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//sitemap/ - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//contact/ - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//privacy/ - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//terms/ - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//disclaimer/ - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//blog/ - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//resources/ - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//resources//courses - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//resources//podcasts - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//resources//books - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//resources//software - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//resources//tops - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//resources//services - https://www.harrisonkistler.com/blog/the-importance-of-digital-marketing//resources//audiobooks You should check these links for 404 errors! Now, I am going to create some pages using these links by clicking on them in my browser along with copying their URLs in Coda because they are different than the original link location in Coda’s interface because they are links that are being redirected to something else since they are broken links that have been fixed by BrokenLinkChecker’s scanning ability:
The broken links above all redirect to pages on this site which means that they are not broken links any more which means that they no longer need to be linked to by pages within this site so I will delete them from the source code for this site so that they are hidden from view while still being accessible by search engine bots so that they do not hurt my SEO rankings by having them linked to by pages on this site after being fixed via BrokenLinkChecker’s scanning ability:
Now, we need to create a page with a link to each one of these pages and replace them with links to these new pages we created:
You can see how we did this by accessing the original link in Chrome developer tops:
You can see how we did this by accessing the new link in Chrome developer tops:
You don’t want my site visitors accessing these pd broken links because if they do then they will get 404 error messages instead of the content that they were trying to access when they clicked on these links which can cause them to lose interest in reading anything else on this site because they got what they wanted when they clicked on those links and didn’t get what they wanted when they clicked on those links and went away because of it which means that they may never come back again even though there is good content posted here so we need to replace these pd broken links with new working links so that we can fix these pd broken links and turn them into useful working links that point people toward the content that they want when they click on them instead of just getting 404 error messages when they click on them which can cause people to lose interest in reading anything else on this site because they got what they wanted when they clicked on those links and didn’t get what they wanted when they clicked on those links and went away because of it which means that they may never come back again even though there is good content posted here so please consider subscribing to my email list so that you can receive updates whenever new content gets posted here which you can get by entering your email address into the form below. Now, suppose that you had a lot of pd broken link building material that you wanted to repurpose for use on your own blog or website but you only wanted to repurpose it once without having to repurpose it manually over and over again across multiple pages so you can use something called a find and replace trick with a top called Sublime Text 3 which is a lightweight text editor for coding with advanced features such as syntax highlighting & snippets which means that you can write code faster while making fewer mistakes while allowing you to easily edit files anywhere while saving you time by automatically syncing your work between all your devices while having great performance while being actively developed while not being bloated with features that you don’t need while being free while being easily extensible with plugins while having themes & addons available while being loved by many developers while being loved by many companies while being loved by many schops while being loved by many governments while being loved by many people around the world including people who love it so much that they wrote books about it which you can get for free by clicking here. Now, suppose that you wanted to integrate Coda with ActiveCampaign instead of just linking to your pd broken link building material via
