  • Integration of Qlik Sense and Clubhouse
  • Qlik Sense has been integrated with Clubhouse. There are different components of this integration. There are different components of this integration including sharing data, accessing data, creating dashboards and creating charts. This integration has made it easier to analyze data through club house.

Sharing Data. Sharing data between club house and Qlik Sense depends on the level of authorization of user. A user who has got administrator level access can share data between these two applications. A user who has got administrative level access can share data between club house and Qlik sense without any difficulty. When there is no administrator level access then the user needs to use the API connection for sharing data between these two applications (Tabbara, 2012. API connections will be discussed in details later in this paper.

Accessing Data. Accessing data from club house can be done by creating API connections or by sending web service requests. API connections will be discussed in details later in this paper. Sending web requests for accessing data from Qlik sense is done in a similar way like creating API connections. To send web request for accessing data from Qlik sense the user needs to go through fplowing steps:

    • Create a Web Service Call template in Qlik sense and add name and description to it.
    • Add the web services URL in the appropriate field in the template.
    • Select the API documentation type under API creation options section. API documentation types include HTML, XML and JSON. API documentation types will be discussed in details later in this paper.
    • Save the API call template and test it with API call simulator. API call simulator allows the user to easily test API calls with minimal effort (Gartner, 2015. This API call simulator is easy to use and understand so anyone can use it for testing API calls easily. Once API call template is successfully tested then the API call template can be used for accessing data from club house. Creating API connections will be discussed in details later in this paper (Tabbara, 2012.

Creating Dashboards. Dashboards can be created using both club house and Qlik sense. Club house provides different templates that can be used for creating dashboards. Dashboards created using club house are automatically saved on the cloud server which makes it very easy to access them anytime from anywhere. To create a dashboard using club house the user needs to fplow certain steps:

    • Go to “New Dashboard” option on home page of club house website and click on create a new dashboard button on left panel of page. This will redirect you to “Create new dashboard” page of club house website where you need to select appropriate template from pre-defined templates mentioned on right side of page. If you want to delete any dashboard then you need to select that particular dashboard from list provided at bottom of “Dashboard” page and click on delete button displayed at bottom right corner of “Dashboard” page (Gartner, 2015.
