How CloudTalk & JotForm Integrations Work

Integration of CloudTalk and JotForm

CloudTalk is a cloud-based business call center software that helps businesses in different sectors to manage their customer interactions. CloudTalk enables you to answer calls, manage contacts, and view reports from any device or location. CloudTalk supports voice recognition technpogy which is an artificial intelligence feature. CloudTalk is designed with an open API which allows you to integrate it with other third-party applications. It has an integration module for JotForm that you can use to integrate JotForm with CloudTalk. You can use the integration to transfer calls from JotForm to CloudTalk automatically when the caller chooses the number provided on JotForm.

JotForm is a web-based form building top that enables users to create different forms with ease. You can create different types of forms including contact forms, login forms, survey forms, registration forms, feedback forms, etc. The forms can be hosted on Jotform.com or they can be embedded on your website. JotForm also has an integration module with CloudTalk for integrating CloudTalk with JotForm. You can use the integration to trigger CloudTalk whenever a new form is submitted on JotForm.

  • Integration of Cloudtalk and Jotform
  • CloudTalk has an integration with Jotform that allows you to send leads from Jotform to CloudTalk by using triggers and actions associated with the integration. A trigger is an action that initiates the cloud-to-cloud integration between two applications and an action is a process that runs in response to a trigger. You can create both triggers and actions through the cloud-to-cloud integration portal. To complete this task, fplow these steps:

    Step 1. Log in to the CloudTalk conspe and go to Settings > Integrations.

    Step 2. Click Add Integration and choose JotForm from the list of integrations.

    Step 3. Enter the API Key and API Secret values for JotForm and click Next Step.

    The API Key and API Secret values will be provided by JotForm while enabling the integration on your account.

    Step 4. Select the name of the trigger and click Next Step.

    Step 5. Enter the details about the trigger and click Save Changes.

  • Name. Enter a name for the trigger. This name should be unique and should describe what this trigger does. For example, you can enter New lead created on Jotform as the name for this trigger.
  • Source. Select Source type as Webhooks (this option will appear if you have enabled webhooks on your account. This option will only appear if you have enabled webhooks on your account. If you have disabled webhooks, then you will not see this option in this step.
  • Trigger URL. Enter the fully qualified URL of a script or an application that will listen to events from CloudTalk. This field will be pre-filled with a value if you have enabled webhooks on your account. If you have disabled webhooks, then leave this field empty. In this case, you will have to write the script or application code to listen to events from CloudTalk manually in Step 6 below.
  • Event Name. Select Name property from the list of event names that matches the event you want to send from Jotform to CloudTalk. This field will be pre-filled with a value if you have enabled webhooks on your account. If you have disabled webhooks, then leave this field empty. In this case, you will have to write code in Step 6 below to listen to events from CloudTalk manually.
  • Properties. Enter the property name and the property value separated by a comma for each property in the event object that you want to send from Jotform to CloudTalk when the event occurs. This field will be pre-filled with a value if you have enabled webhooks on your account. If you have disabled webhooks, then leave this field empty. In this case, you will have to write code in Step 6 below to listen to events from CloudTalk manually.
  • Action URL. Enter the fully qualified URL of a script or an application that will handle events from CloudTalk when they occur. This field will be pre-filled with a value if you have enabled webhooks on your account. If you have disabled webhooks, then leave this field empty. In this case, you will have to write code in Step 6 below to handle events from CloudTalk manually.
  • Action Name. Select Name property from the list of action names that matches the action object that contains properties that are sent from Jotform to CloudTalk when an event occurs. This field will be pre-filled with a value if you have enabled webhooks on your account. If you have disabled webhooks, then leave this field empty. In this case, you will have to write code in Step 6 below to handle events from CloudTalk manually.
  • Properties. Enter the property name and the property value separated by a comma for each property in the action object that you want your script or application to act upon when an event occurs. This field will be pre-filled with a value if you have enabled webhooks on your account (if there are properties defined in action objects. or if you provide them manually in Step 6 below (if there are no properties defined in action objects.
  • Target Object(s. Select one or more target objects (iTunes Connect data source, Google Analytics data source, Salesforce data source, or SurveyMonkey data source. that contain information about leads generated by Jotform which are sent to CloudTalk when an event occurs using the trigger workflow above (this option will appear only if you have read access permissions for these data sources. This field will be pre-filled with a value if you have enabled webhooks on your account (if there are any target objects defined. or if you provide them manually in Step 6 below (if there are no target objects defined. If you do not want any target objects connected to this action, then select None as the target object(s.
