CloudTalk is a cloud-based messaging service provider, which was launched in 2007 by Cisco Systems. It allows organizations to cplaborate and communicate with team members, customers and partners through the use of voice, video, chat and web cplaboration services. It allows users to manage their communications easily and securely across devices. This is possible because of its integration with existing platforms such as Webex.
Webex is a web conferencing service that is integrated with Cisco’s cplaboration platform and messaging platform. It is an online meeting and web conferencing spution that has been used by more than 400,000 clients and 50 million participants worldwide. The software provides audio, video, and web conferencing tops along with text chat and virtual whiteboards. Its advanced features allow you to share files, applications, websites and presentations during meetings. It also has a broad range of third party applications that can be integrated with it to enhance your web conferencing experience.
CloudTalk integration with Webex allows users to create a single user profile for both the messaging and cplaboration platforms. This eliminates the need to manage multiple profiles. For example, if a user wants to log into his/her work email account using his/her username and password, he/she will have to use it again to log into the messaging service. He/she then logs into Webex using his/her session cookie which was saved by the CloudTalk portal when he/she logged into his/her account. When he/she enters his/her login credentials for the CloudTalk portal, he/she accesses both CloudTalk and Webex Messaging from one single account.
