Firebase Cloud Storage is a cloud storage service that provides various features to the user to store, retrieve and backup their files. The most important feature of this service is that it supports cross-platform integration, which means that users can upload their files on the cloud storage using a variety of devices. Firebase Cloud Storage also allows the user to download their files from the cloud storage at any location.
Zoho Invoice is an online invoicing service which helps entrepreneurs and business persons to manage their invoices and payments easily. Zoho Invoice is very simple to use and supports multi-currency transactions. It offers many useful features like customized invoice layouts, invoicing for multiple partners, payment reminders, and much more.
Firebase Cloud Storage can be integrated with various other platforms which will enable users to access their data from anywhere, anytime. This integration can be done using two methods. The first one is through the Firebase Realtime Database API and the second one is by integrating the Firebase Authentication system with Zoho Invoice. Below you can see how these two methods work.
Firebase Realtime Database API
Using the Firebase Realtime Database API, users can retrieve the data from the Firebase Cloud Storage. Below you can see how this method works.
In order to integrate Firebase Cloud Storage with Zoho Invoice, you need to create an authorization token on Firebase Cloud Storage in order to access your account data. To do this, navigate to the URL “https://www.firebase.com/account/auth” and sign in using your registered account. Now click on the “Create New Token” button on the bottom right corner of the screen. A new pop-up will appear. Fill in your desired credentials in the form and click on the “Generate Token” button.
This will generate a token for you. Copy this token and save it somewhere as you will need it later while integrating Firebase Cloud Storage with Zoho Invoice.
Now open the Zoho Invoice online application and go to Settings > Integrations > Add New Integration > Google Drive. Here you will need to enter the API Key and Secret Key which you can find on your Google Drive account page by clicking on the “API Keys” tab. Enter these keys into the provided fields and click on “Next”. In case you don’t have an API key or secret key on your Google Drive account page then you can get them by fplowing the steps below:
On your Google Drive account page, go to Settings > APIs & Services > APIs > Cloud Platform API > Storage > Create New Client ID. Then create a new client ID by clicking on “Create Client ID” > Web Application. You will receive an application ID and a secret key along with a Client secret which will be used in this step. Keep these details somewhere as you will need them later while integrating Firebase Cloud Storage with Zoho Invoice.
Once you have entered all of these credentials into Zoho Invoice, you are ready to integrate Firebase Cloud Storage with it. Here are some simple steps to fplow:
Sign in to your Firebase account and click on “Database” from the left navigation bar. From here, you will be able to access all of your database information and details. Now click on “Realtime Database” from this page and choose “Rules” from the left navigation bar. A new page will appear where you will be able to add new rules for your data access contrp. Click on “Add Rule” and set up a rule for reading/writing your files from Firebase Cloud Storage using this form. This rule will allow us to retrieve our data from Firebase Cloud Storage with Zoho Invoice using its unique id (which we will obtain later using Zoho Invoice. Make sure to save your changes after setting up this rule. You can now use this rule in order to read and update your files from Firebase Cloud Storage with Zoho Invoice. You can do this by adding a new rule under the “Write Data” section as shown in this screenshot. This rule will allow us to write new files into Firebase Cloud Storage via Zoho Invoice so that we can update our file metadata appropriately. Make sure to save these changes before continuing further. You can now configure this rule according to your needs by clicking on its name in order to add more conditions such as defining what kind of files will be uploaded, maximum size of the file, etc., as shown below. After setting up all of these rules, you are now ready to start using Firebase Cloud Storage with Zoho Invoice for its integration purposes! Now go back to the Zoho Invoice main page, click on “Settings” in the top navigation bar and then click on “Integrations” from the left navigation bar. Click on “Google Drive” from this page in order to start accessing your files from Firebase Cloud Storage with Zoho Invoice through its Google Drive integration abilities. Now you can start saving any file on Zoho Invoice by simply uploading it onto Google Drive via your Google Account credentials and selecting it as a file type while adding it into the document library of Zoho Invoice. This will automatically synchronize this file with your Firebase Cloud Storage and all of its updates will be reflected within your document library as well! It should be noted that every time you want to save a new file or update an existing file, you need to create a new entry within your “Write Data” rule because it contrps the ability of writing data into your Firebase Cloud Storage with Zoho Invoice through Google Drive Integration.
Firebase Authentication System Integration with Zoho Invoice
Using the Firebase Authentication System Integration with Zoho Invoice, users can authenticate themselves into their accounts through Facebook or Google+ without leaving their current platform. This way they can continue working on their documents while being signed in on all of their other applications like Twitter, Linkedin, etc., without having to sign in again for each application separately
