Firebase Cloud Storage is a service that provides secure file uploads and downloads for users. It also gives the option to stream video and audio content and store all of it safely on its servers. The basic concept of Firebase Cloud Storage is similar to that of Dropbox and Google Drive. Users can use this service to store pictures, videos and even documents and files, just like they would do with the two aforementioned services.
Firebase Cloud Storage lets users create a private space where they can store their data. The most striking feature of this service is that it offers free storage for all of its users with a limit of up to 5GB. This service was developed by Firebase, which is a mobile development platform whose main focus is on improving the mobile experience for its customers.
OneDrive is a cloud-based storage program developed by Microsoft. Just like Firebase Cloud Storage, OneDrive also lets users store their personal files in the cloud. This service supports a wide range of file types, including documents, music files, video files as well as images. In addition to storing personal data, OneDrive also allows users to synchronize their files with their mobile devices so that they can access them from anywhere.
Integrating Firebase Cloud Storage and OneDrive is a very simple process. If you want to integrate these two services with each other, you will have to fplow a few steps, which are listed below:
Step 1. You have to create a new project in Firebase conspe. To do this, you have to visit https://conspe.firebase.google.com/projectew?&authuser=0&pli=1#/. When you land on the Project Setup page, enter your project name and click Create Project. Once you have created your project, you will be redirected to the conspe for that particular project. Here, you will see three tabs at the top of the page. These tabs are Overview, Storage and Authentication. Select Storage from these tabs.
Step 2. From the Storage tab, you will notice that the screen has several options towards the right side of the screen. From within this list, you should select Get Started. After selecting this option, you will be directed to another page where you will find details about Firebase Cloud Storage. This page will tell you how to get started with the service through your web browser or your mobile application. You can also configure your account settings here.
Step 3. After configuring your account settings, you should click on the Get Started button below it. The next screen will ask for your credentials for your OneDrive account. You should provide your OneDrive credentials here. Once you have entered your OneDrive credentials, you should click on continue after which Firebase Cloud Storage will verify whether or not your credentials are valid. This will take a few moments. If Firebase Cloud Storage finds that your credentials are valid, it will begin syncing all of your OneDrive data with your account. This sync process may take some time to complete, depending upon how much data you have stored in OneDrive. Once Firebase has finished syncing all of your OneDrive data with your account, it will redirect you back to the Storage tab in Firebase Conspe where you will see all of your data organized under All Files in the left-hand sidebar menu.
Now that you have successfully integrated Firebase Cloud Storage and OneDrive with each other, you can start taking advantage of the benefits that integration brings to both of these services. These benefits are listed below:
