Firebase is a popular cloud platform as a service (PaaS. provided by Google. Firebase offers a wide range of services such as analytics, database, storage, messaging, and testing. It is also the origin of the famous Firebase database. Now Google announced the integration of Firebase Cloud Storage with Autotask, a powerful cloud-based sales and support automation software.
Autotask is a cloud-based application that helps to automate the sales and support process. It offers a number of features such as sales pipeline management, customer support, project management, employee-management, and reporting.
Google has been working on integrating Firebase Cloud Storage with Autotask for a long time. In the beginning of this year, Google announced that it would stop providing new data from the Firebase database to new customers on March 31, 2019. The first step was taken at the end of 2018. Google announced that on January 31st, 2019, they will stop providing new Firebase Database users on Autotask after merging with Google Cloud. As a result, the Firebase Connector for Autotask will be removed from Autotask as well as from Google Cloud on January 31 as Google continues to move away from Firebase as a product. In the second step, Google announced that on March 31, 2019, new data from Firebase will cease to be available on Autotask as well as from Google Cloud.
Firebase is similar to Google App Engine (GAE. Since GAE is no longer supported by Google, Firebase is the only cloud computing spution available for developers. Google explained that they are focusing their efforts on improving Firebase and making it more secure for their customers instead of maintaining multiple products. After the integration of Firebase Cloud Storage with Autotask, how can you still use Firebase It doesn’t seem to matter to you if you are an existing user or not because you can continue to use your existing data without any problem. You will only need to reconfigure your configuration to use the new API version. After Google stops supporting the pd API version, you will receive the warning if you use the pd API version in your project. The warning can be fixed easily by updating your configuration files.
The integration of Firebase Cloud Storage with Autotask helps organizations keep their data safe and allows them to scale up their business quickly. For example, John Doe Company has just started out for one year ago. They have only two employees now including John Doe and Jane Doe. They use Autotask to manage their customer relationship. The company has 10 customers now. They use Firebase database to store their customers’ information. Since they are still small enough, they don’t need to worry about scaling at this moment because they can handle it by themselves without hiring any additional staffs. But what will happen if their company grows gradually after one year They may need to hire more staffs or upgrade their systems if they are still using Firebase database. If John Doe Company uses Autotask to manage their customers’ information, they can start using Firebase Cloud Storage to save their customers’ information instead because it integrates with Autotask now.
Google announced the integration of Firebase Cloud Storage with Autotask at the beginning of this year. This integration enables organizations to keep their data safe so that they can scale up their business quickly without worrying about scaling issues later on.
