Cloud Firestore is a NoSQL, document database that helps to store data. It allows users to edit data in real time. This is an ANGIOS exclusive feature.
Arthur Online is a platform for creating interactive storybooks. It allows users to upload their own stories with images and interactivity.
For the sake of this paper, we will be using the story “The Great Paper Caper” by Marc Brown as an example. The integration with Cloud Firestore and Arthur Online will be illustrated below.
Figure 1. Illustration of connection between Cloud Firestore and Arthur Online.
Arthur Online provides the ability to upload storybooks with images and interactivity. The user can add stories from their account or from the Cloud Firestore. In order to add a story from the Cloud Firestore, you must add a reference to the Cloud Firestore in your code. Once you have added a reference, you can add a story from the Cloud Firestore.
Example. To add a story from the Cloud Firestore, you need to add a reference to the Cloud Firestore in your code. Once you have added a reference, you can add a story from the Cloud Firestore. Figure 2. Code snippet showing how to add a story from the Cloud Firestore in Arthur Online. In this recipe, we use a get request to retrieve data from the Cloud Firestore. In addition, we use a set request to save data into the Cloud Firestore.
In Arthur Online, the user has the ability to upload a story from their own computer or from Cloud Firestore. In addition, they also have the ability to delete a story from either location when it is not longer needed. However when deleting a story, it cannot be deleted from both locations at the same time. For example, when deleting a story from Cloud Firestore, it will not delete it from Arthur Online until it has been deleted from Arthur Online. In this case, when you use an update request to delete a story from Arthur Online, it will not update or remove it until it has been removed from Arthur Online. Unlike in figure 2 where we used a get request and a set request when adding and removing data in Cloud Firestore, we use an update request in this case when deleting data in Arthur Online. This is because when deleting data in Arthur Online, we want to make sure that there are no conflicting updates to the same record, so we use an update request instead of a get request and a set request like in Data Storage (Cloud Firestore. (What is. (Cloud Firestore. We also use an update request when we need to perform multiple changes in one call (i.e., update multiple records at once. We can update multiple records at once because we must delete them before we can push new data into them (i.e., we need to delete them in order for them to become available for another attempt at updating. Figure 3 shows an example on how to delete data in Arthur Online after retrieving data from Cloud Firestore.
