  • Microsoft Exchange?
  • Microsoft Exchange is a groupware email server developed by Microsoft. It provides users with an easy way of sharing calendars, tasks, contacts, notes and documents over an Internet Protocp network such as the Internet or a private intranet. Additionally, it provides administration of these services and security for both the system and data.

  • Integration of ClickUp and Microsoft Exchange
  • Integration of ClickUp and Microsoft Exchange is achieved through the use of the ClickUp API which allows for both full and partial integrations with ClickUp and Microsoft Exchange. The full integration allows for all Mail Fpders to be accessible within ClickUp. This would allow for users to be able to see their email messages alongside their tasks, notes, calendar events, etc. Additionally, Microsoft Exchange users are able to access their mail messages from within ClickUp. However, if users do not have an Outlook account they are not able to make use of this feature. Likewise, if they do have an Outlook account but do not wish to use it, they are still unable to make use of this feature. These are some of the limits of the full integration. The partial integration allows for changes in tasks to trigger emails that are sent back to Microsoft Exchange users. Similarly, changes within an Outlook Calendar can also be sent to ClickUp users. However, only the task updates will be visible within Microsoft Outlook. Finally, the partial integration allows for users to create tasks from Microsoft Exchange messages. As previously mentioned, Outlook will only show the changes made within Outlook messages. It is important to note that according to ClickUp’s Terms & Conditions there is no technical support available for this type of integration.
