Integration of ClickMeeting and Flock

Flock and ClickMeeting are two applications that are used for communication in a business environment. Flock is a social networking internet application, while ClickMeeting is an internet meeting application. Though these two applications are used for different purposes, both of them have one thing in common. They are both based on the Chromium code base. The goal of this article is to give a general overview of these two applications and how they are related.

The first part of this article will be a general overview of what Flock and ClickMeeting is, and what each one does. The second part will consist of an explanation on why it is beneficial to integrate both of these applications together. This will include how the integration of the two applications will benefit the user with regard to time saving and feature integration. Finally, there will be a brief conclusion about why I feel it is beneficial to integrate both applications together.

Integration of ClickMeeting and Flock

Though both ClickMeeting and Flock are based on the Chromium code base, they are still very different from each other. One way that they differ is that ClickMeeting is designed to assist businesses in conducting meetings over the Internet, while Flock is designed to help users keep in touch with their friends and family members through status updates and communication. However, both of these applications are under the same parent company, as they are both owned by Google. In my opinion, it is beneficial to integrate these two applications together. This would allow for the fplowing features:

Benefits of Integration of ClickMeeting and Flock

Integrating these two applications would provide several benefits. One benefit that I see in doing this is that it would allow for the use of the same login information between both applications. This would make it easier for users to log into either application because all they would have to do is log into one application and they would automatically log into the other application. Another benefit would be that it would allow users to communicate between both applications while using the same interface. For example, if a user had sent a message to another user in Flock, they could also send it to a user of ClickMeeting. This makes communicating with people more convenient because it doesn't require switching back and forth between applications to communicate with someone who uses one or the other application but not both. Also, integrating Flock and ClickMeeting together would make it easier for users to share content. If a user wanted to share something on a social network such as Facebook, they could just post it on Flock and then they could post it on ClickMeeting as well. It would make things easier because the user wouldn't have to go back and forth between applications to do this. Another benefit would be that it would allow for sharing of video content. If a user was using ClickMeeting to hpd a meeting, they could also have a live stream of what was happening on Flock so that everyone else could see what was going on at the meeting too. This would make meetings more interactive because users could communicate between each other through the chat feature while watching what was going on at the meeting at the same time. A final benefit that I see in integrating these two applications together is that it would allow users to save time when conducting meetings over the Web. If a user didn't want to take time out of their day to conduct a meeting, they could just send out an invitation through Flock and then invite everyone else who was interested in attending the meeting into the same meeting through ClickMeeting at a later date when they were ready for it.

I believe that it would be beneficial to integrate both Flock and ClickMeeting together into one application because doing so would allow for users to share content among each other easier than before, as well as making it easier for users to communicate with each other between two separate applications without having to switch back and forth constantly between them. All in all, I feel that integrating these two separate applications together would be beneficial for users who use either or both of these applications because it would provide them with an overall better experience when using either or both applications.
