Cisco® Webex Teams is a cplaboration software that enables users to communicate, share files, and work on projects together. It offers many of the features of Google Hangouts, including voice, video, and instant messaging. Since it is part of Cisco’s cloud platform, users can access their content from nearly any device.

Zoho Expense?

Zoho Expense is a cloud-based web-based expense reporting and management application that provides complete contrp over your company’s spending and helps to reduce overall costs by monitoring and managing expenses.

Integration of Cisco® Webex Teams and Zoho Expense

Integrating Cisco® Webex Teams and Zoho Expense enables employees to generate receipts efficiently and attach them to expense reports without having to leave the office.

  • Create an expense report using Zoho Expense.
  • Attach the receipt to the expense report using Zoho Expense.
  • Share the expense report with other users who want to view it and cplaborate on it. This can be done by sharing the URL of the report or adding users as cplaborators in Zoho Expense.
  • As soon as someone else accepts the invitation to cplaborate on the expense report, they will automatically be sent the link to the report and will be able to view and update it.
  • The user can export the report as a CSV file to import it into their own accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Microsoft Dynamics GST Online. This makes it easier for them to share data with their accounting team.
  • If a user needs to create a billable time entry, then they can do so by creating a new version of the expense report in Zoho Expense and adding a comment about why they are creating this new version under the additional comments section. They can then continue updating the report as usual, create an invoice based on this report, and send it out via email. When a client receives this invoice, they can accept it as a billable time entry using Cisco® Webex Teams. This will sync the time entry with Zoho Expense, where it will be visible as a new version of the original expense report. The user can then go back into Zoho Expense, find that new version of the report, and then export it as a CSV file for use in his/her accounting software. The user can also attach receipts to this new version of the expense report in Zoho Expense – just as they would have done for the original report – and then sync it back up with Cisco® Webex Teams by sharing it with his/her team members. This way, everyone stays updated on their expense reports from start to finish. And, if they need to make edits, they can do so from anywhere at any time – without needing to wait for IT support or make trips back to the office.
