Integration of Webex Messaging and WooCommerce

This articles will be about the benefits of integrating Cisco® Webex Teams and WooCommerce, specifically for a e-commerce business. In this article, I will be explaining what is Cisco® Webex Teams and WooCommerce, what are the features of Cisco® Webex Teams and WooCommerce, and how they both integrate to each other.

First, I will talk about what is Cisco® Webex Teams and WooCommerce. Cisco® Webex Teams is a cloud based service which users can have a video conference with up to 10 members. It has a screen sharing feature that allows up to four members to share their screens at the same time. It also has a chat function so the team members can communicate with each other. In addition, it also has a whiteboarding feature so the users can draw. The users can create a meeting in Cisco® Webex Teams, and send out invitations to join the meeting. There are three types of meetings in Cisco® Webex Teams. public, private and scheduled. A public meeting can be accessed by anyone, while a private meeting can only be accessed by an invitee. A scheduled meeting can be set to occur regularly at a specific time and date. Users can attend multiple meetings at once; however, only one meeting can be active for viewing at a time.

Second, I will talk about what is WooCommerce. It is an e-commerce plugin for WordPress, which enables website owners to sell products through their sites. It provides features such as Google Analytics integration, Facebook shop previews, category page templates, product reviews, product variations and extensions. It supports many payment gateways such as PayPal and Stripe. It also provides online stores with multiple shipping options such as free shipping and flat rate shipping. It has a built-in search engine optimization (SEO. top that improves search rankings by creating meta descriptions and titles for product pages. There are thousands of plugins which you can use with WooCommerce such as Wordpress SEO by Yoast, Ppylang and YITH WooCommerce Multilingual. There is also a premium version of WooCommerce called WooCommerce Stripe Connect which allows users to accept credit card payments through Stripe.

Thirdly, I will talk about how they integrate to each other. There are two ways that Cisco® Webex Teams and WooCommerce integrates to each other. using WooCommerce as an order management system or using Cisco® Webex Teams for online meetings. For the first way, the user sets up WooCommerce with their website. When an online customer purchases an item from the website, the user needs to connect Cisco® Webex Teams with WooCommerce by installing an extension with Cisco® Webex Teams plugin called Order Management System Plugin for Cisco® Webex Teams. After installation is completed, the user needs to configure the extension with their website’s information in Cisco® Webex Teams’ settings page. Once everything is set up, when customers place orders on the website, they will receive order confirmation emails from Cisco® Webex Teams’s email address with links to view their orders in Cisco® Webex Teams via its web apps website. With this method, Cisco® Webex Teams acts as an order management system for the website since all orders will be recorded in Cisco® Webex Teams after purchase on the website is completed. For the second way, instead of configuring Cisco® Webex Teams as an order management system for the website, the user only needs to connect their website with Cisco® Webex Teams using the extension with Cisco® Webex Teams plugin called TeamMeetings Plugin for Woocommerce. All orders made on the website will be sent directly into Cisco® Webex Teams along with all related data such as price, quantity of items ordered etc. After that, users can create meetings with their teammates in Cisco® Webex Teams with all information regarding the orders sent automatically during the meeting so they can discuss about them together. Therefore, both methods can be used separately but they are better used together because there are more benefits available when they are both used together than just one of them being used alone.

In conclusion, integrating Cisco® Webex Teams and WooCommerce together is more beneficial than using them separately because you get more features that are not available on either of them individually when they are integrated together rather than separately.
