Integrate Webex Messaging with Basecamp Classic

Cisco® Webex Teams product integrates with Basecamp Classic through the use of a simple connector. This integration makes it easier for users to share information between the two products. The fplowing outlines the process for creating a Basecamp Classic account using Cisco® Webex Teams:

• Sign up for a free trial from https://webspace.cisco.com/welcome/signup.html.
• Sign in to https://webspace.cisco.com. Click “Webex Teams” in the top right corner of the screen and select “Start a team” from the drop down menu. The “Start a Team” page appears, which provides instructions on how to create a team account in Cisco® Webex Teams. Click “Create a new Team” in order to start setting up the team account.
• Add users to the team using the “Add users” section in the “Manage tab” when you log in to https://webspace.cisco.com. You can invite other team members to join your team by sending them an invitation email or by adding them manually through the “Manage tab” when you log in to https://webspace.cisco.com. Alternatively, you can contact your sales representative to find out how many seats you have remaining for your trial and invite users directly to your team from the “Manage tab” when you log in to https://webspace.cisco.com.
• After inviting team members, you should be able to see your team members listed in https://webspace.cisco.com under the “Manage tab” if they accept your invitation. If you do not see your team members listed under the “Manage tab” after inviting them to join your team, please contact your sales representative for assistance with this issue.
• Click on the “Connectors” link under “Manage tab” when logged into https://webspace.cisco.com and then click on "Basecamp Classic". From here, you should be able to connect Cisco® Webex Teams with Basecamp Classic and add Basecamp Classic project links to the "My Projects" page in Cisco® Webex Teams .
