Cisco® Webex Meetings can be easily integrated with PostgreSQL using its API interface. The API allows users to create, read, update, and delete data from PostgreSQL tables. This integration can be done using a number of ways, such as:
Web API - This API allows users to create, read, update, and delete data from PostgreSQL tables via the web browser. The API is developed in Java programming language and it can be used from any Java-enabled browser. Downloadable API - This API allows users to create, read, update, and delete data from PostgreSQL tables via a downloaded jar file. You can use this API from any Java-enabled software. Command line - This API allows users to create, read, update, and delete data from PostgreSQL tables via the command line interface. It uses the Java Database Connectivity (JDBC. API to execute SQL commands against a database server instance. You can use this API from the command line of any operating system.

Figure 1 shows how Cisco® Webex Meetings integrates with PostgreSQL. First, the user connects to Cisco® Webex Meetings via the web portal or an application for video conferencing. Then the user creates a meeting room in Cisco® Webex Meetings. Once it is created, the user can invite people to join the meeting room. They will be able to see the meeting room information including its location, description, participants list, etc. The user can also view the log of all activities that have occurred in that meeting room. When someone joins the meeting room, the user will be notified via email or text message if they are out of the office. Users can then access that meeting room by selecting it on the device where they are logged into Cisco® Webex Meetings.
