Interactive Meeting Experience for Users of Both Products

Interaction between users connected through Cisco® Webex Meetings and users connected through Intercom is instantaneous. When users connected through Cisco® Webex Meetings start using Intercom during their meeting, they can see their conversation partners’ names and see whether they are active on Intercom. When users connected through Intercom start using Cisco® Webex Meetings during their call, they can see the names of the participants in the meeting and see whether they are active on Cisco® Webex Meetings. From this information, users can decide whether they want to join the meeting or continue communicating through Intercom. To join the meeting, they can click on “Join” in the left-side menu on the screen showing the meeting details. To continue communicating through Intercom, they can click on “Conference” in the left-side menu on the screen showing the meeting details.

Audio Call between Users of Both Products

Users who are connected through Cisco® Webex Meetings can switch from audio calls through Intercom to audio calls through Cisco® Webex Meetings without disconnecting from Intercom or logging out from their current session on Intercom. Similarly, users who are connected through Intercom can switch from audio calls through Cisco® Webex Meetings to audio calls through Intercom without disconnecting from Cisco® Webex Meetings or logging out from their current session on Cisco® Webex Meetings. When users switch from audio calls through Intercom to audio calls through Cisco® Webex Meetings or vice versa, they can continue participating in the meeting without missing any important information being discussed by other participants in the meeting. In addition, when users switch from audio calls through Intercom to audio calls through Cisco® Webex Meetings or vice versa, they can continue making use of all of Intercom’s features, such as text messaging and voice messaging. Similarly, when users switch from audio calls through Cisco® Webex Meetings to audio calls through Intercom or vice versa, they can continue making use of all of Cisco® Webex Meetings’ features, such as file sharing and whiteboarding.

File Sharing between Users of Both Products
