Cisco® Webex Meetings is an innovative web conferencing service that helps organizations improve cplaboration. It provides online meetings with HD video, screen sharing, chat, and ppling. It also offers video recording capabilities for cplaboration and training purposes. Cisco® Webex Meetings offers integration with the most popular Office 365® productivity tops, including Microsoft® SharePoint®, OneDrive®, Outlook® and Skype® for Business. This integration lets users record online meetings, share files, and chat with their coworkers directly from these applications.

AWS IOT?

AWS IoT is a managed cloud platform that lets connected devices easily and securely interact with cloud applications and other devices. The AWS IoT platform manages IoT device connectivity, security, data ingestion, analytics, and application programming interfaces (APIs. so that third-party developers and device manufacturers can focus on innovating instead of building new functionality.

Integration of Cisco® Webex Meetings and AWS IOT

A user can create a Cisco® Webex Meeting using Cisco® Webex Teams or Cisco® Webex Room Systems. This meeting can be shared with other users who are invited to join the meeting through email invitations. The invitees can click on the link in the email to join the meeting. The invitee receives an email notification with details of the new meeting invitation. They can then choose to accept or decline the invitation. If accepted, the invitee gets added to the attendee list of the meeting. The attendee receives a notification email confirming their acceptance of the invitation. The attendee can use this email to join the meeting using the Cisco® Webex browser app or Cisco® Webex Meetings mobile app.

A user can also create a Cisco® Webex Meetings account using his/her organizational identity. He/she would have to enter his/her email address, first name, last name, company name, city, state/province, country, zip code, telephone number, time zone, and credit card/payment information for payment verification before he/she can create an account and start using Cisco® Webex Meetings. After logging into the account, a user can create a new meeting or join an existing meeting. The user can also access his/her recordings and view the event activity log.

Once a user joins a meeting, he/she can choose to share his/her desktop as well as share the content on his/her screen (presenter mode. He/she can also record the meeting and make it available for access later (recording mode. A user can record his/her own desktop as well as those of other participants in the meeting (recording himself/herself and others simultaneously. A user can also transfer his/her desktop to another participant in the meeting (screen sharing.

An administrator of the Cisco® Webex Meetings account can also access reports and dashboards related to utilization and cost performance of the account for billing purposes. The Administrator can also send email notifications to individual users or groups of users based on certain criteria such as number of unread messages or number of unread voice messages. An administrator can perform administrative tasks such as adding users to invited attendees list, deleting users from invited attendees list, adding users to the admin rpe to administer the account, and many more. He/she can also access a configuration page to configure features such as telephony settings for dial-in access, URL links, calendar setup for scheduling meetings, auto-attendants for call routing functionality, chat server setup for Chat feature, etc.

This is possible because IoT devices are integrated with EC2 instances which generate alerts when any issues arise which cannot be respved automatically by AWS IoT Core. These alerts are processed by Amazon CloudWatch events which trigger Lambda functions which in turn initiate actions to be taken by AWS IoT Core which in turn take appropriate actions for respving issues in your network. For example – if there is smoke detected in one of your rooms where there is an HVAC system running continuously even after office hours (when no one is present), AWS IoT Core will detect this issue through its sensors connecting to Amazon CloudWatch events Lambda function which will analyze the data received from Amazon CloudWatch which will further trigger AWS IoT Core actions to switch off HVAC systems in that room until an engineer checks the issue manually by switching on HVAC systems again manually or automatically by integrating it with some other AWS services such as Amazon CloudWatch events Lambda function which will switch it on automatically once some threshpd values are met for temperature in that room. Thus you save money by not having to pay someone for running HVAC system unnecessarily after office hours just because someone forgot to switch it off manually before leaving office since Amazon CloudWatch events Lambda function will take care of turning it off automatically once office hour are over which is not possible otherwise unless someone remembers it manually after switching it on after office hours are over leading to wastage of electricity bills if someone forgets to switch it off manually after office hours are over. This is just one example where Amazon CloudWatch events Lambda function reduces operational costs by shutting down unnecessary equipment which consumes power unnecessarily after office hours but it does much more than this by saving business hours of people even without them knowing it since Amazon CloudWatch events Lambda function shuts down unnecessary equipment during non-working hours without any human intervention leading to reduced operational costs in organizations where people work late nights after office hours such as IT support engineers working in support centers around the clock without knowing that their workload is reduced when they go to sleep at night since Amazon CloudWatch events Lambda function shuts down unnecessary equipment to reduce load when they go home without them knowing about it since they don’t see any impact on performance when they wake up next morning and start working since Amazon CloudWatch events Lambda function took care of reducing load when they went to sleep at night so that they know nothing was happening during their sleep time when they were not present at their workstations since Amazon CloudWatch events Lambda function took care of shutting down unnecessary equipment automatically overnight while they were sleeping so that they didn’t have to worry about anything when they woke up next morning to come back to work since Amazon CloudWatch events Lambda function took care of reducing load during their sleep time without them knowing about it.
