Chatter is a social networking platform that allows users to engage with each other in groups by posting messages, start conversations, and share files. It’s also a place for companies to converse with their customers and employees.

Twilio is a cloud-based API provider that allows developers to add voice, text, chat, and video capabilities to applications using simple REST API calls.

Integration of Chatter and Twilio

  • Chatter into Voice Messages

Twilio API can integrate with Chatter to automatically convert all Chatter posts into voice messages. This is a great way to broadcast announcements, reminders, or alerts. When these types of messages are received, they can be played as audio files by employees within a given organization.

  • Chatter into Text Messages

Similarly, employees can receive Chatter posts as text messages. This allows them to keep track of all the information that is posted. They can read them at their convenience instead of having to check their Chatter feed every time someone posts something.   • Record Calls for Storage and Distribution

By integrating Twilio with Chatter, you can automatically record all calls that are made by your employees and store them in the data center so they will always be available.
