The integration will allow users to access more information from one place, creating a more efficient learning environment.

Chatter is a web application that allows users to create profiles and networks with other users. Chatter also makes it possible for users to access their e-mails from within the social networking environment. Tookan is a platform that enables data from external sources to be integrated into Chatter’s social networking environment. Integrating Tookan with Chatter will allow students to view information from their e-mails in one place. This integration will allow students to have access to all their classes, homework assignments, and e-mails in one place without having to log into each application separately. Having all of this information in one place will make it easier for students to find what they need and learn more efficiently. For example, if a student wants to learn more about a topic, they can click on the link in their e-mail and read an article about the topic. If they do not like an article, they can click on another link and read another article and so on and so forth. Students can also get information about which classes to take next semester or how to pass an upcoming exam. Students at my university must go through different websites such as Blackboard and Canvas to access their e-mails and other information about their classes and there is no single source of information where students can find everything they need in one place. With the integration of Chatter and Tookan, students at my university can see all of this information in one place and it will save them time and energy. They will not have to log into different websites or call professors at different times of the day because everything is available in one place. The integration of Chatter and Tookan will create a more efficient learning environment for my university’s students.
