Chatter is an online top used by the employees of Salesforce in order to cplaborate with each other and share information. This system was developed to replace email and also to reduce the amount of emails sent every day in the Salesforce organization.


Intercom is a chat-based sales engagement platform that helps companies talk directly with their customers. This company was founded in 2011 and is based in San Francisco, California. It is one of the fastest growing companies in sales software today.
