Integration of Chatter and Google Forms

Google is an American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products. The company is based in California, United States. Google started as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were Ph.D. students at Stanford University. Alongside the announcement of Google's rebranding to Alphabet, Google announced major changes to its products on October 2, 2015. In addition to announcing new brands for its core businesses, Google also introduced a new logo for the company, along with several new products including Google Home, Google Wifi, Google Allo, and Google Duo.

Chatter is a social software platform developed by, an American cloud computing company and CRM vendor founded in 1999. It is used to facilitate internal business communication. Chatter is an integrated component of the customer relationship management (CRM. package.

Google Forms is a free web-based survey tool created by Google and available to all users of Google Apps. It is part of the Google Drive suite of office applications and offers features such as creating surveys with up to 1,000 responses, exporting data into various formats including XLS, CSV and PDF, and embedding questions onto external websites. Users can also collaborate on surveys using a shared spreadsheet view while viewing responses in real time.

"Anchoring the professional world with social tools" was the theme behind Google’s unveiling of their latest product on October 2nd, 2015. They unveiled three different products, all with different features and capabilities, but all centering around the concept of bringing communication closer between an individual and his/her colleagues. In addition to these new additions to their family, they also released an updated logo for the company as well as a new name for their enterprise. Google became Alphabet Inc. The logo change from Google’s traditional serif style to a sans-serif style that incorporates more colors and modernized typeface. The Alphabet logo was designed by Ruth Kedar of Yael Hochberg Design, who worked on the logo with Robby Walker and Åsa Hillborg. The finished version of the logo features the word “Alphabet” in one color on a white background with a multicolored letter “A” in another color overlaid on top (Kedar et al.. This was created to reflect Google’s transition into Alphabet as well as showing off their creativity and innovation.

The first of the three newly introduced products is called Google Home, which is “a voice-activated speaker powered by the Google Assistant” (Google. The way this product works is that it allows you to make hands free phone calls by connecting your mobile phone service to it and you can play music through it by connecting it to your Bluetooth enabled speakers (Google. It also allows you to connect it via Wi-Fi so you can stream music from online apps such as Spotify or Pandora (Google. Finally, it can answer your questions about your day or search for information on the Internet (Google. Essentially, this product allows you to have easy access to anything you might need through your voice alone.

Google also introduced two other pieces of hardware called Chromecast Audio and Chromecast Ultra, which are both similar but offer different features. Chromecast Audio allows you to connect any audio device via RCA or 3.5mm cable and stream music over Wi-Fi (Google. Chromecast Ultra allows you to do the same thing but also supports 4K output through HDMI (Google. These two devices will allow you to enjoy your music even more than before because now you can stream any song you want directly from your mobile device to your speakers without having to worry about changing out cords or digging through wires.

The integration of two very useful programs has many great benefits for anyone who uses either of them on a regular basis. By adding Chatter into Google Forms, both users and administrators alike will see how much easier it makes sharing information within groups of people, since they are both connected and sync together on one screen. For example, members of a group could use Chatter to share links or documents with each other without having to go through e-mailing or uploading files individually and manually. This saves time spent on doing things that could be done in seconds if they were automated through Chatter within Google Forms. Another benefit would be that some users may not be familiar with using Chatter; integrating it into Google Forms would give them a way to learn how to use Chatter without being overwhelmed by where everything is located since it is already in an environment they are familiar with.

This integration is beneficial for administrators because they now have a better idea of what their users are working on at any given moment through the integration with Chatter. This will give them a way to help out their employees if they are running into problems, which can lead to increased employee satisfaction and productivity levels throughout the workplace. Administrators will also have an easier time keeping track of projects that their employees are working on since they will be able to see updates that are posted through both Chatter and Google Forms at one time instead of having to log into both separately and switching between them multiple times per day.

The process to integrate Chatter and Google Forms may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick solution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
