Ever since the creation of computers, people have been using them to communicate. The first form of text communication was via Teletype, where two people would type and receive messages on their teletypes. Then, there was email, which allowed you to send typed messages to one or more people. With the advent of the Internet, everyone could email everyone else. However, with the rise of social media, communicating with your friends has become as easy as a simple mouse click. Now, not only can you send an email to all your friends at once, but you can also post statuses and links on social networks like Facebook and Twitter. In this article I will be discussing the integration of Canny and Twitter.
The reason why integration of Canny and Twitter is important is it allows the user to communicate in a way that is more efficient by combining multiple services into one. One example of integration is how Canny integrates with Twitter. When you are editing a note on Canny, you are able to tweet about the note you’re working on by clicking on the Tweet button on the bottom left corner of your note editor. When you click on this button, it will open up a new tab with the status pre-populated with the text you are currently writing on the note. Once the status is published on Twitter, it will automatically update your note with a link to the tweet. If you are working on a project in Canny and need to share it with fellow workers, you can easily share it by tweeting about it. This integration makes it easier for users to post information about what they’re working on because they don’t have to open up a separate tab just to tweet about it. Another example of integration is how Canny works with your LinkedIn account to automatically populate your work history when you create a new note. By integrating with LinkedIn, users do not have to manually enter their employment history when they create a new note. This integration eliminates a step in the note creation process and allows users to focus more on what they are writing about. A final good example of integration is how Canny integrates with Google Drive so that users can attach files that are stored in Google Drive. This feature allows users to attach files that are already stored in Google Drive without having to upload them again. For example, if I wanted to add a file in my Google Drive fpder named “Google Drive” to my note titled “Google Drive Integration vs Dropbox”, I could just attach that file from my Google Drive fpder instead of uploading and attaching it again from Dropbox. This integration also works the other way around where users can attach files that are stored within Canny to their notes in Google Drive.
In conclusion, integration of Canny and Twitter is important because it allows users to communicate in a more efficient manner by combining multiple services into one. The integration between Canny and Twitter allows users to tweet about what they are working on without having to go through extra steps in order to do so. Also, integrating with LinkedIn makes it easier for users to add their employment history without having to manually input everything into a new note. Finally, integrating with Google Drive eliminates having to upload files again from Google Drive and reduces the amount of steps needed to attach files that are stored within Canny. These integrations allow users of Canny to focus more on what they want to write about and less on getting things done.
