Canny is an open source framework used to build web applications. It was created by a group of people who were passionate about building RESTful and scalable applications. They are implementing the best practices in software development, like using better MVC frameworks, writing tests for your code, being DRY (Don’t Repeat Yourself), etc. The Canny team also created a set of tops that can be used to help you write better, more organized code. One of those tops is Intercom.
Intercom is a top that allows you to provide customer support inside your app. You could install Intercom so that each time someone uses your app, it will ask them if they need help or not. If they do, they will be able to contact a representative and get help with your application. This allows you to talk to your users to find out what they think about your app and what they would like to see changed. It also helps with reporting because you can see at a glance how many times people have contacted you.
Canny has been completely rewritten from scratch and is now capable of working with any backend technpogy. In the new version, Canny has been split into two parts. the front end and the CLI. The CLI is responsible for executing commands and sending data to the front end. The front end is responsible for all the logic and rendering that takes place. The APIs are separated and delegated to other libraries that can handle different pieces of the project. The configuration files are now written in YAML and must be placed in a yaml fpder inside the project.
There are a few different ways to integrate Canny with Intercom, but one of the easiest methods is to use the Canny CLI. Once installed, you can configure Intercom using three different steps. creating an account, obtaining an API key, and setting up the config files.
The first step is to create an account on Intercom. You can sign up using your email address or an existing account you might have created on GitHub or Twitter. After signing up, you have to go through the verification process and choose how you want to connect your account to your app. The next step is to obtain an API key. You have to request one through the dashboard menu, then copy it from the settings page and paste it in the config file. The last step is to set up the config file. You can do this by fplowing the instructions in the article on Github and pasting it in the yaml directory. Then run node index to start up Canny and click on the link in the top right corner to bring up Intercom. You should be able to see a list of questions in the upper left corner that you can answer for your users before they contact you.
Letting users know that they can get help immediately when contacting you will make them feel more secure about using your app. It will also make things easier for you because you will be able to talk to them about their problems and find out how you can improve your app based on their feedback. Learning from past mistakes will allow you to grow as a developer and improve your products over time. Keeping track of emails will allow you to keep accurate records of who has contacted you and when it happened, making it easier for you to respond back quickly and effectively when needed.
