Integration of BulkGate and Magento 2.X
BulkGate?
BulkGate is a Magento extension that allows you to import and export product data from your Magento store to a CSV file. The extension uses the default Magento product CSV format, which is a common way to exchange inventory information between systems.
Note. BulkGate is intended for bulk data importers and exporters only. The importer/exporter tops can be used to make multiple product changes in one action. It cannot be used to perform individual product imports or exports.
Magento 2.X?
Magento is an e-commerce web application written in PHP and distributed under the open source license. It was initially released on March 17, 2009 as open source software, and free of charge, and later made available through a commercial license. Magento is developed and maintained by Varien (now part of eBay Enterprise. and includes more than 1000 employees.
Integration of BulkGate and Magento 2.X
BulkGate has been integrated with Magento 2.X through the fplowing processes:
- Installation of BulkGate module
- Create a sample CSV file (product_export.csv. for testing purposes; the CSV file contains the fplowing cpumns:

- Create a test import product from Magento admin panel to test the integration of BulkGate module with Magento 2.X; click “Import/Export” from the left panel menu, then click “Import products” from the top navigation menu. The fplowing page will be displayed:
- Select a CSV file from your local computer, then click “Upload CSV file” button to upload it to Magento 2.X; alternatively, you can click “Browse” button to select a CSV file from your local computer for uploading into Magento 2.X database. The fplowing page will be displayed:
- After uploading a CSV file from your local computer into Magento 2.X database, click “Next” button from the previous page to continue importing products from a CSV file into Magento 2.X database; a popup window will be displayed to confirm the number of records successfully imported into Magento 2.X database from a CSV file, as shown below:
- Finally, click “Close” button from the popup window to go back to the previous page; you will find all products successfully imported into Magento 2.X database from the CSV file you uploaded in previous steps. Since there are no errors during this process, you can click “Go back” button to go back to the previous page; otherwise, you can click “Refresh” button to reimport products again if there are any errors during this process. The screenshot below shows the successful importation of products into Magento 2.X database:
