Integration of Braintree and Twilio

In this paper, I will be writing about the integration of Braintree and Twilio, two companies and how they can benefit from their merger.

    Integration of Braintree and Twilio

Braintree is a company that specializes in handling payments for online transactions. It is a division of PayPal. The company was founded in 2007 by Bryan Johnson, Bill Ready, Peter Thiel, and Max Levchin. In 2011, the company was sold to eBay for $800 million. After the deal, the company was renamed as PayPal Braintree. In September 2014, PayPal announced that it would spin off Braintree as an independent publicly traded company. Following this announcement, Braintree’s stock rose by more than 20%. On October 2, 2014, Braintree became an independent publicly traded company. The company is headquartered in Chicago.

Twilio is a cloud communications company based in San Francisco. The company provides an API platform for real-time communication applications such as voice and SMS. The company was founded in 2008 by Jeff Lawson, Evan Cooke, John Wolthuis, and Jered Kenna. The name comes from the Latin word “twillia” which means “to weave or braid”. Karl Sun has been the CEO of the company since June 2013. Twilio has raised over $140 million from various investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Founders Fund, Redpoint Ventures, SignalFire Venture Partners, SV Angel and Union Square Ventures.

Benefits of Integration of Braintree and Twilio

The merger of these two companies will give them many benefits. First of all, integrating their services together will let them provide all of their customers with a single solution for all their payment needs. This will be very convenient for their customers because they won’t have to deal with any complications when they make payments online. Second, the merger will allow both companies to reduce costs. By merging their services together, they will be able to share some of their resources like data centers and equipment. This will save them money because they won’t need to buy separate equipment for each service. Third, this merger will improve customer service by allowing both companies to share their customer databases and accounts information with each other. This will make it easier for them to communicate with their customers and give them better service overall. Finally, this merger will allow both companies to increase their revenues by expanding into new markets and selling new products that they didn’t offer before.

Based on the above analysis, I think that Braintree and Twilio should merge their services together because it will benefit both companies greatly in many ways.

The process to integrate Braintree and Twilio may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick solution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
