Box can be used across an organization’s entire ecosystem of devices and applications, including PCs, Macs, iOS and Android devices, and popular productivity and business applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce CRM software, Google Docs and SAP. Braintree is a payment company that was founded in 2007 and has established itself as a leader in online payments. It enables companies to accept payments over the Internet and gets paid immediately (Braintree, n.d.. Braintree’s payment sputions can be customized to fit the needs of different types of businesses, such as e-commerce sites, marketplaces and crowdfunding platforms. It currently serves more than 100,000 merchants around the world (Braintree, n.d.. Braintree charges merchants 2.9 percent of transacted amounts plus 30 cents per transaction (Braintree, n.d..
As part of the partnership between Braintree and Box, Box now offers its services to all of Braintree’s merchant customers (Box & Braintree Partner, 2015. This means that merchants can use Box’s cloud storage services to securely store their data, cplaborate with other people on their projects or run their business operations smoothly (Box & Braintree Partner, 2015.
