Integration of BigCommerce and Xero

Introduction:

BigCommerce is a cloud-based ecommerce platform that offers merchants and retail websites to market their products and services online. With BigCommerce, you can sell your products on major online channels including Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz, Magento, Shopify, and more.

While Xero is cloud-based accounting software for small businesses. Xero allows users to manage financial transactions and control their business from anywhere. You can also view your business data in real-time.

Xero integrates with major payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, and Paymate.

Integration of BigCommerce and Xero:

BigCommerce and Xero are registered under the same parent company called Xero Limited. They are both cloud-based platforms that offer businesses a variety of tools for running their business efficiently and effectively.

In order to integrate BigCommerce and Xero, two things must be done:

First, you need to create an account in both BigCommerce and Xero. When you create an account in BigCommerce, you will be asked to link up your existing shop if you already have one or create a new one if you don’t have one yet. After creating your BigCommerce shop, you can link it up with Xero by following the steps below:

· On the “Billing” page of your BigCommerce dashboard, click on “Link Accounts” under the “Subscriptions” header.

· Select “Invoice and Payment Integrations” option.

· Click on the green button “Connect to Xero”.

· Click on the green button “Select” next to “Xero”.

· Enter your login credentials for Xero and click on “Login”.

· Click on the green button “Link Account”.

After linking your Xero account with BigCommerce, all your sales will be synced with Xero automatically. This way you can save time in manually entering information from your orders into Xero which is tedious and time consuming.
