Integration of Basin and Habitica

I will be using several sources to help me with this article. The first source will be an article about Basin by Shankar Vengalil on Venture Beat. I will use the second source to learn about Habitica’s integration of Basin into their app. The third source will be an article about the benefits of the integration of Basin into Habitica.

Basin?

Basin is a goal-tracking app that allows users to create goals and track their progress towards those goals. Users can make goals in the areas of health, fitness, productivity, finance, and social life. Upon signing up for Basin, users are asked to provide some information about themselves, including gender, age, profession, number of goals they want to set, and income. Once they sign up, users can begin adding goals to their profile. Goals that they add are then organized into categories like productivity or fitness. To edit or delete goals, users can click “Edit” and make any changes to the goal they would like. To add a new goal, there is a plus sign at the top corner of the screen. Users can also search for specific goals by typing the goal in the search bar at the top of the app. Goal settings include setting a monetary value and a completion date. Users can also add multiple people to a goal and invite them to cplaborate with them on their goal.

Habitica?

Habitica is an app that helps users build good habits and eliminate bad ones. It uses gamification to motivate users to keep working towards their goals. After signing up for Habitica, users can add their goals and assign them to particular days of the week. They can also invite friends to join them on their journey towards their goals. If a user wants to change their goal or add a new one, they can click on the menu icon and select “Manage Habits” from the list. From there, they can edit or delete habits and add new ones. If a user wants to give themselves a reward for completing a habit, they can click on their avatar and select “Rewards” from the menu options. From there, they can get rewards such as coins or gems for completing their habits. Users will receive notifications when they need to complete a habit or make a post in their journal. These notifications appear in a pop-up box at the top right corner of the screen when a user logs onto Habitica. They appear in a similar format when a user checks off a habit in their journal.

Integration of Basin and Habitica

In December 2017, Habitica announced that it was integrating with another app called Basin to help encourage its users to become more active. In order to do this, Habitica added a “Goals” tab in its app so that users who have downloaded Basin can integrate it into Habitica easily. This integration allows users who have downloaded both apps to have access to their Basin data in Habitica so that they can see all of their progress toward a particular goal in one place rather than having to look at two different apps to view their progress. In addition to being able to view progress from Bean from within Habitica, Habitica users will also have the option to share their data from Habitica with Bean so that they can compare their data from both apps side by side in one place. In addition to being able to see all of their data together in one place within one app, users will be able to set reminders on some goals through both apps as well (VentureBeat.

Benefits of Integration of Basin and Habitica

The integration of Habitica and Basin provides many benefits for users of both apps. For example, integration allows users of both apps to set reminders on goals without leaving either app (VentureBeat. Users who are more focused on achieving certain goals may prefer this feature because it allows them to concentrate more on achieving their goals without worrying about missing any updates on other goals since they are able to keep track of all goals in one place. Another benefit of this integration is that it provides an easy way for new users to create goals for themselves by having access to both apps needed in order to be successful at creating goals for themselves (VentureBeat. For example, new users may not know what types of goals that they would like to create or how many goals they would like to create until after downloading both apps and trying out different types of goals. If they had not downloaded both apps before trying out different types of goals, they may have had difficulty finding the type of goal that worked best for them or finding enough time to create all of the goals that they wanted to create on their own. This feature allows new users who are interested in using both apps to give them time to figure out which type of goal works best for them before setting reminders in either app. By doing this, they are less likely to become frustrated with either app because they won’t feel pressured into setting reminders for every single goal when they are still figuring out what works best for them or when they are still experimenting with different types of goals. Another benefit of this integration is that it makes it easier for users who are interested in using both apps but are hesitant about making sure that they are fplowing through with all of their goals by making updates that are consistent across both apps (VentureBeat. For example, users who are using both apps may be more likely to check off habits or tasks if they know that doing so will count towards updates being made on both apps instead of just one app. This also allows users who are using both apps but have trouble remembering things throughout the day due to being busy with work or schop activities to rely on reminders from either app if necessary (VentureBeat.
