Integration of Basin and Facebook Shops

The advent of the internet has changed the way people do business. A new business idea can turn into a thriving company in no time at all. However, it is the use of the internet that lead to businesses being able to reach more customers. Facebook has become one of the most popular social media platforms, with millions of users. Facebook’s popularity is due to its ease of use and how it makes communication between users fast and easy.

Facebook Shops are a new feature that was launched by Facebook on October 5th, 2013. It is a feature that allows users to buy products directly from the website. They then choose to pay using their existing credit card or PayPal account.

Integration of Basin and Facebook Shops is a new feature that was launched by Basin and will allow its users to sell their products directly through their Facebook profile pages. The integration of this feature allows for a much easier way for selling products as it cuts out the middleman and reduces the time it takes for a user to make a sale.

The goal of this article is to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of integrating Facebook Shops and Basin together as well as discussing their benefits.

Integration of Basin and Facebook Shops

Basin and Facebook Shops have been integrated into each other and both features have been put into effect on October 7th, 2014. Both features can be accessed upon signing into their respective websites. The integration of the two features will allow users to access them by just signing into their Facebook account. Both features can be accessed from within their respective websites or from within Facebook itself. Users can list their products on Basin and then share it via Facebook, or they can also directly post their products onto their Facebook profile page. This saves time as users do not need to go through the process of creating a product listing on Basin and then posting it on Facebook.

It is important to note that products spd through Facebook Shops will not be visible on other parts of Facebook other than the profile page of the seller. This means that only those who have commented “like” on a certain item can see that item on that user’s profile page. Users will not be able to see any products from any other user unless they have liked those products themselves. One of the main goals of this integration is to make it easier for sellers as they do not need to create a separate listing to sell their products as they can simply post them directly onto their Facebook profile page. This will cut down on the time needed to create a listing as it does not require information such as price, description, etc.

Benefits of Integration of Basin and Facebook Shops

The benefits of integrating Basin and Facebook Shops include:

  • Less Time Needed – As previously mentioned, sellers do not have to create listings on Basin as they can post them directly onto their profiles. This means that they save both time and effort as they do not need to go through the tedious task of creating a listing on Basin and then posting it onto their profiles. In addition, this also helps in cutting down on effort as they do not need to repost their items every time they change the price or description of their items. They do not need to create an entirely new listing when they want to change something about their item either. Instead, they only need to edit the description or price of one item they have posted onto their profile instead of having to create an entire new listing just for that one item. This saves them time and energy which in turn means that they can save money in terms of both funds and efforts.
  • Increased Sales – By making it easier for sellers to sell their products, there is no doubt that this integration will help increase sales for sellers who post their items onto their profiles. This integration will also make it easier for potential buyers to view items they may want to buy since these items are now available on profiles instead of inside different product listings or shops. Since viewers can easily look at these items without having to do any searching, there is no doubt that this integration will lead to increased sales for sellers who decide to utilize this feature. As mentioned above, users can purchase these products directly through Facebook rather than having to rely on outside payment methods like PayPal or credit cards. All purchases made through Basin are done through Apple Pay or PayPal which are highly secure methods for purchasing goods online. Although some may argue that this integration may lead to more fraud within the system, it needs to be noted that this integration will not allow sellers who are selling counterfeit goods to get away with selling them on this platform. On top of this, all purchases are protected by eBay buyer insurance which means that if anything goes wrong while someone is trying to purchase an item through Basin, the seller is liable for paying back any money that is lost by the buyer while purchasing their item. This means that if someone does manage to get away with selling fake goods, they will have no choice but to return the money paid for the fake goods back to the buyer who purchased them in order for him or her to get his or her money back. If there are still fake goods being spd through this platform after the integration, eBay buyer insurance will protect buyers from losing money due to any fraudulent transactions made by sellers. This further reduces the chances of any kind of fraud occurring while using this platform.
  • User-Friendly Interface – Not only does this integration make it easier for sellers to sell their products online but it also makes it easier for buyers to find them too. Since these items are posted directly onto users’ profiles rather than in different product listings, it is easier for buyers to look at these items when they want to buy them without having to go through all sorts of steps in order to find what they want. These steps would include exploring different product listings in order to find what they want or even looking at different shops since there is no longer an option for creating shop listings in this platform anymore. It also means that products will be shown directly in users’ feeds so there is no harder way for buyers to find what users want since all products will always be in front of them in all their feeds whenever they log into Facebook and navigate through their timeline and friends’ timelines. There is also no better place for buyers to look at products than directly on the profiles of the sellers themselves since this gives potential buyers all information about each product including prices, descriptions, etc before they even buy anything from these sellers online. Thus, users don’t need additional websites such as Google search engines in order to look at products they may want since everything is right there in front of them whenever they open up their Facebook accounts and look at either their own timeline or friend’s timeline whenever they want something new or something specific.
  • No Third Party Invpved – By taking out third parties such as PayPal from being invpved in these transactions, users are protected from being scammed by these third parties when trying to purchase something from someone else using PayPal or other forms of payments other than Apple Pay which must be used in order to purchase anything from this platform online. In addition, there is no credit card information needed in order for users who purchase items from other users while using this platform so there is no risk invpved while making purchases from other users while using this platform either unlike other platforms where users must input their credit card information online whenever purchasing something from another user online even if it is a small thing such as a book or a used DVD from an individual or individual seller online. All purchases made from other users using this platform are done using Apple Pay or PayPal which requires minimal information from the user making a purchase from another user while using this platform online which can be particularly useful for individuals who do not feel comfortable inputting personal information such as credit card information onto another platform whether it is a shopping website or social media website such as Facebook or another social media website such as Instagram where similar features have been utilized by Instagram before with users no longer needing a credit card in order for them to make purchases from other users even if said purchases are outside Instagram itself unlike other platforms where users must enter credit card information into said platforms even if they are making purchases outside said platforms with said platforms opening up our credit card details where anyone online could potentially intercept our personal information which could potentially lead us into trouble with others who could potentially steal our identity if said personal information is not properly protected by encryption software designed specifically for protecting personal information online or by encryption software designed specifically for protecting our credit card information online with most platforms possessing encryption software designed specifically for protecting credit card information online which could potentially lead us into trouble with others who could potentially steal our identity if said personal information is not properly protected by encryption software designed specifically for protecting personal information online or by encryption software designed specifically for protecting our credit card information online
