Step Two. Setting Up Your Import(s. in Nimble

When you are importing projects into Nimble, there are usually three different types of projects that you will want to import:

1.. Projects that are owned by someone else on Basecamp Classic (such as an admin)

2.. Projects owned by yourself on Basecamp Classic (if applicable)

3.. Projects that are not owned by anyone on Basecamp Classic (such as ones that you created on your own time)

Once you have imported all of these projects into Nimble, you can begin working with them. Each of these projects will still exist on Basecamp Classic after they have been imported. The way that they will interact with each other is determined by how they are synced together. You can choose between one of three syncing methods:

1.. Synchronizing Workflows Between Each Project (the default method)

2.. Syncing Workflows Between Project By Project (this allows you to choose which workflows are synced between each project)

3.. Syncing Workflows Between Users (this allows you to choose which users will sync their workflows between each project)

After you have chosen your syncing method, you can then start working with your new integration. You can see how things are flowing by clicking on the “Sync Now” button on the left-hand sidebar in Nimble. This will allow you to see all of your changes in real-time on the main dashboard interface. If any errors are found, they will be shown on the dashboard interface as well. You can see more information about what these errors mean by clicking on them. After all errors have cleared up, you can then proceed with using your newly integrated system! Congratulations!
