Basecamp Classic is a project-management top from 37signals, the first project management software company founded by Jason Fried, David Heinemeier Hansson, and Mike Swanson in 1999. It also has a blog, Signal vs. Noise. The goal of Basecamp is to make it easy for everyone in an organization to manage projects. Its basic features include the ability to create projects with milestones, assign tasks to team members, share files and messages, and track time and expenses. Users can also customize status reports and add their own fields for additional detail.
Microsoft To-Do is a task management application developed by Microsoft that is available on Android, iOS, Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10 Team (only available to users within an organization), Web, and Outlook.com. It was released on September 7, 2017 as a successor to Wunderlist. Microsoft To-Do integrates with other Office 365 services, including OneNote and Outlook.
In order to integrate Basecamp Classic with Microsoft To-Do, the user must have Basecamp Classic app installed on their mobile device. If not installed already, then an app can be downloaded from App Store or Google Play for free. With this app installed on the user’s mobile device, the user then goes to the Microsoft To-Do website to download the Microsoft To-Do app from the App Store or Google Play for free. After installation of both apps are complete, the user will then fplow the steps below to enable integration:
Open Microsoft To-Do. Tap on Settings Icon. Tap on “Account” option. Now tap on “Settings” option. Under Account Settings section, Tap on “Connected Apps” option. Now tap on “Connected Services” option. Under Connected Services section, tap on “Connect your account to other services” option. Now tap on “Add Services” option. If you are using a mobile device, tap on “Add Services” option in your mobile device browser window. Otherwise, tap on “Add Service” button in your desktop browser window. Now search for “Basecamp Classic” using the search box in your browser window. Select “Basecamp Classic” from the list of available services and click on “Connect” button to proceed. Enter your Basecamp Classic credentials to connect your account with Microsoft To-Do.
After connecting your account with Basecamp Classic, you can easily integrate Basecamp Classic with Microsoft To-Do. Just sign into your Microsoft To-Do account and fplow the steps below to begin the integration process:
Click on Settings icon in Microsoft To-Do app menu bar. Tap on Accounts option under SETTINGS section. Tap on “Allow access to accounts” option under ACCOUNT SETTINGS section. You will see all accounts that you previously connected with Microsoft To-Do under ACCOUNTS section. Select “Basecamp Classic” account from the list of accounts and click on “Allow Access” button to proceed. Now you can start integrating Basecamp Classic with Microsoft To-Do! Click on Add Tasks button in Microsoft To-Do menu bar. A new task will be created in your Microsoft To-Do account using name that you selected in Basecamp Classic app. You can now add a title and description to your task in Microsoft To-Do app and mark it as completed once you finish it in Basecamp Classic app! You can also add notes to your task in Microsoft To-Do app and mark it as completed in Basecamp Classic app at any time! You can also view all tasks that you have synced with Basecamp Classic from Microsoft To-Do app! Just click on “My Tasks” button in Microsoft To-Do app menu bar fplowed by clicking on “All Tasks” option under TASKS section to see a list of all tasks that synced with Microsoft To-Do from Basecamp Classic! This will allow users to work with both applications without heavily relying on one application over another!
