Chargebee is an online payment spution. It allows you to set up a subscription based system that can be integrated with your website (Both online and offline. or used as a standalone system.
Basecamp 3 has the ability to integrate with third party programs, and Chargebee is one of them. When integrated with Chargebee, you can create invoices for your customers that are automatically sent to Basecamp 3. This means that they will appear inside Basecamp 3 as tasks and allow you to manage them alongside every other task inside of Basecamp 3. This makes it so that you don’t have to worry about sending invoices out separately from Basecamp 3. You can focus on editing the invoice details, creating payment options for your customers, and even set up automatic refunds in case your customers change their mind about paying for the service. The integration between Basecamp 3 and Chargebee also makes it easier for you to fplow up on unpaid invoices. You can see when each invoice is past due and send reminders if necessary.
The main benefit of integrating Basecamp 3 and Chargebee is time savings. Overall I think integrating Basecamp 3 and Chargebee is a good idea, but there could be some improvements made to both programs before that happens. The first thing I would like to see improved about Basecamp 3 is the notifications and reminders system. At the moment the Basecamp 3 notification option doesn’t work very well. It takes a long time for notifications to arrive at people’s emails and it doesn’t automatically go straight into their inboxes, which means they often don’t see them until later. Another improvement that could be made to Chargebee is making the “Cancel Subscription” button easier to find on the invoice page. Many of my friends have trouble finding it because it’s not immediately apparent where they need to click in order to cancel their subscription.
