Integration of Basecamp 3 and BigCommerce

Basecamp 3 can be integrated with BigCommerce so different employees in your company can access it and check on their tasks. To integrate the two, you need to create a new project in Basecamp 3. You then go to Integrations –> Channels where you select BigCommerce as the Channel type. You then fill in the required information like your BigCommerce organization name, your base URL and API key. Once this is done, you need to click Save and then click Done. Now you will be able to see all the tasks in BigCommerce under Basecamp. You can view the tasks by Project or by Person by clicking on the tabs at the top. You can also see tasks that are overdue or due soon by clicking on the top right dropdown menu and selecting Filters –> Status. You can also add people to projects directly from Basecamp by clicking on the person’s name in a task email notification. When you hover over their name, you will see a button called Add People next to the Delete button. Clicking it will bring up a list of people who are a part of the project and you can click someone’s name to add them to the project. You can also add notes to specific points in BigCommerce by clicking on the Add Note button on the top right dropdown menu. This button has three lines next to it which indicates that there are already three notes attached to this task. The second line from the top will have a number indicating how many notes there are on a particular task.
