Basecamp 2 is an application used for project management. It is a web based application which allows organizations to manage projects and tasks within the organization. With Basecamp 2, users can set due dates for projects, track tasks, assign tasks to team members, create discussions, schedule meetings and cplaborate on documents.
Deskpro is an online cplaboration software designed for business productivity. Deskpro offers features like task management, time tracking, document sharing, messaging, file storage and calendar management.
To integrate Basecamp 2 and Deskpro, the person will have to go to the “Settings” tab in Deskpro. Here he/she can click on the “Integrations” button. This is where the person will be able to activate the integration process between Basecamp 2 and Deskpro.
After clicking on the “Integrations” button the person will have to log in to his account in Basecamp 2. After logging in to basecamp 2, it will ask for the user’s email address. After entering the email address, it will ask for the user’s password. After entering the password, it will ask for the user’s mobile number. After entering the mobile number, it will give the option to select whether or not they want to receive push notifications. After selecting “Yes” or “No”, it will begin the integration process between Basecamp 2 and Deskpro by sending a confirmation message on the mobile number entered earlier.
Now with this integration process completed, the person will be able to see all their Deskpro activities in their Basecamp 2 timeline with a link attached to each activity. He/she can click on this link to access the activity in Deskpro. The person can also create a task directly from Basecamp 2 and send it as a message in Deskpro. If a person creates a new task in Basecamp 2, this task will automatically appear as a message in Deskpro and vice versa. The tasks created in either application will show up as one another’s tasks.
