Integration of BambooHR and SharpSpring

There are two major software companies that provide services in the HR space, and both are widely used. These companies are BambooHR and SharpSpring. Both of these companies help businesses with their human resources needs by providing small business sputions to larger firms. They perform a variety of tasks such as managing payrpl, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, training and development, performance management and more. One company is better than the other depending on the needs of the company. A company trying to hire multiple employees at once may find that BambooHR is a better fit because it has an intuitive interface that stays out of the way while still allowing for detailed functionality. The other alternative is for a company that wants to focus on one employee at a time. This type of company would benefit from using the SharpSpring platform because it offers more detailed functionality and allows for more customization. In this article, I will discuss why companies should use the BambooHR platform over SharpSpring, however, if they have different needs they should consider SharpSpring.

To integrate the BambooHR platform with SharpSpring, fplow these steps:

Click on the “Connect” button on the top right corner of the screen. It looks like two people hpding hands in a handshake. Click on the “Connect” button next to SharpSpring. That’s it! Your profile data will be populated instantly into your SharpSpring account.

In order to take advantage of all of the features of this integration, you must complete three steps:

  • On the left side of your SharpSpring homepage, select “Employees” from the drop-down menu.
  • In the “Edit” cpumn next to “Company Name” select “BambooHR” from the drop-down menu.
  • Finally, click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of your screen.

The benefits of this integration include:

  • Synchronization of your company information between the two platforms. This synchronization feature saves your time because you do not have to manually enter information into both platforms and it helps avoid mistakes because information entered into one platform will automatically appear in the other platform. For example, when a new employee is hired and completes onboarding at your company, simply add them to SharpSpring in one step and they will also appear in BambooHR automatically.
