shippit enables greater visibility into shipment tracking and monitoring. With this new integration, customers can communicate shipment information with an Amazon Echo, Alexa-enabled device or Echo Show.
To enable this integration, customers must update their shippit account settings with their Amazon Web Services (AWS. IoT credentials and then select the shippit channel in the Amazon Connect application. Once enabled, customers can ask Alexa to inquire about the status of a shipment using syntax like "Alexa, ask shippit where is my order?" or "Alexa ask shippit what's the status of my order?". The shippit channel is available in Amazon Connect version 1.3 or higher. The integration can be used with both Alexa and Echo Show.
The end user will have more contrp over the shipping process. For example, you can ask Alexa to tell you where your parcel is if you've forgotten to check earlier on a busy day.
