Integration of Asana and Wave

Asana is a software application that helps teams with project management, team communication, and task management. Wave is a collaboration software that allows users to share information in real time, hold conversations and work together within a single browser window.Wave is a tool from Google for collaboration. Asana is a task management tool by Facebook. Both companies are software providers and aim to improve productivity of their customers. Facebook and Google are two huge corporations that have come up with new ways of how to collaborate and communicate through technology. Although both companies offer similar services, they have different names for the same thing which confuses the customer. The purpose of this paper is to analyze both tools and their integration in order to determine what would be the best fit for collaboration between teams.

In order to integrate Wave with Asana, it is necessary to know what both applications are. Asana is an online productivity platform that helps teams track projects and get work done. It has a variety of features including shared calendars, scheduling and planning. Asana is used for teamwork in company projects. It offers a free version and a premium version that costs $50/month for up to five users. On the other hand, Wave is a collaboration tool created by Google that allows its users to hold real-time conversations in one browser window and share information without leaving the site. It also offers free and paid versions. The free version consists of unlimited participants and up to 10MB of storage per conversation while the paid version consists of up to 100 participants at no cost and up to 2GB of storage per conversation.

Wave can be integrated with Asana using email notifications or RSS feeds. Through this integration, users can receive notifications in real time whenever something happens on Asana. This will allow them to keep up with any updates happening on Asana so they can respond quickly and continue working on their projects. They can also update their statuses on Wave whenever needed so everyone else involved in the project will be able to see what is going on.

Advantages of integrating Asana and Wave are as follows:

· Users will not forget about meetings or deadlines because everything will be in real time

· They will be more organized because everything will be in one place

· They will be able to work better together since they can stay connected 24/7

· They will be able to easily access their information from anywhere around the world

· They will be able to organize their work schedule easily since everything can be seen in one place

· They will be able to track their progress using reports provided by both applications

Disadvantages of integrating these two applications are as follows:

  • This integration is not possible without third party tools such as Appy Pie Connect or IFTTT (if this then that. Thus, there may be issues if either application changes its API or stops supporting the integration. Therefore, it might be better if the integration was provided by the developers themselves rather than relying on third party tools.
  • Many customers still prefer using email over Wave when communicating with their colleagues because they are more comfortable with email than with Wave. Therefore, some people might not like the idea of having another program open while working on their projects.
  • Not all companies use both applications so they will not see the benefit of integrating them even though many companies use one of them especially if it is a big corporation like Facebook or Google.
  • Email notifications are limited compared to real time conversations in Wave where you can have a discussion about certain issues anytime you want.

The process to integrate Asana and Wave may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick solution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
