It would also allow the teacher to give extra help if needed since it would be easy for the teacher to find out who needed help on a certain assignment so he/she could give them extra help before it was too late and they had a low grade or were not turning in their assignments at all. This feature allows teachers and students to communicate with each other much better because of instant messaging, emails, or instant messaging between students in a group project. A lot of time is wasted communicating with each other in person or over the telephone because messages are not always clear or misunderstandings happen when talking on the phone.
