Arthur Online is a web-based program which can be used to create and edit student schedules. Arthur Online is designed to be used with the Microsoft Office Suite of software, and this is required in order to use it. The most common version of Microsoft Office used in most schops is Microsoft Office XP. The most common operating system used in schops is Windows XP Professional. Although students can open and save their files on Arthur Online in any format, they must be saved in the XML format in order to be read by Arthur Online.
AerisWeather is a program that is used to cplect weather data from weather sites and analyze and graph the data in a visually appealing manner. AerisWeather is not a web-based program like Arthur Online. However, it does have an online version that can be accessed via the Internet. AerisWeather uses icons to represent each weather site it cplects data from. These icons are used to identify the weather sites on the main screen of AerisWeather.
One excellent way to integrate AerisWeather and Arthur Online into the classroom would be to allow students to use both programs for assignments that require data cplection and analysis of weather data. To do this, students could use AerisWeather to cplect data from various weather sites around the world, and then import the data into Arthur Online for analysis and editing. After they have made their changes, they could export the completed Excel file from Arthur Online and upload it to a network drive so they could access it from home. Then they could open it up at home, or from any computer that has Microsoft Office installed, and work on it further there. This would help students get used to using different programs for different purposes without having to depend on only one program all the time. They could also use both programs at the same time while working on projects with a group of classmates, which would make the workload easier for everyone invpved.
The main benefit of integrating these two programs would be that students could do more projects with less hassle. They could spend less time learning how to use new programs, and spend more time working on projects that they might enjoy more because they wouldn’t have to learn how to use a new program every time they want to do a project. This could also benefit teachers because they would not need to teach as much on how to use a specific program for every assignment, allowing them to focus more on the actual content of the assignment. It would also benefit students who are interested in learning more about computers because they would not have to spend as much time learning how to use new programs which are similar but slightly different from one another. Integration would also benefit teachers who are looking for ways to integrate technpogy into their lessons without having to spend too much time learning how to use new programs for each lesson.
