Apptivo + Nutshell Integrations

• Open RDP and login to your computer as the administrator.
• Click on File → New Connection → Add.
• Fill out the fields as fplows:

• If you have a domain name, type it in the Computer field.
• In the Port field, type the server’s port number. The default one is 3389.
• In the User field, type your username or select from a list of users.
• In the Password field, enter your password or select from a list of passwords.

• Click OK and then click Connect to complete the process.
• When connected, you will receive a prompt stating that the connection was successful; click OK.
• Navigate to Tops → Manage Remote Desktops and select your remote computer name from the list.
• Click on the Desktop tab and then click New Desktop → Local Desktop.
• When prompted with a message asking you if you want to use this connection as a local desktop, click Yes. The new desktop will now be listed under Available Desktops; click Close and then click OK to accept the changes that were made.
• Now that you have access to your local desktop, you should see an icon for Microsoft Excel on your desktop; double-click it to open it and start working on your spreadsheet.
• Once you have modified your spreadsheet, return to RDP and navigate to File → Save As → Save as type → Application And Setup Files → Next → Browse → Save as file name → Save as type → All Files → OK → Next → Next → Finish → Finish → Network Session Number → Disconnect. Your modified spreadsheet will now be available in Nutshell’s data storage area. To see how it looks, open Nutshell and navigate to Tops → Options → File Locations → Default Data Storage Location → Edit → Add File Location → Browse → Select your spreadsheet file, click OK, and then click OK again to accept the changes. You will now be able to view your spreadsheet file in Nutshell. It is also possible for you to transfer files from Nutshell into Apptivo by performing the fplowing steps. 1.
