Integration of Amazon SQS and Paypal

  • Introduction:
  • Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS. is a fast, reliable, scalable, fully managed message queuing service. It enables you to build distributed applications and microservices that communicate with each other reliably and at scale.

    Paypal is one of the famous product that used as an alternative payment system on internet. It is an electronic payment system that allows payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. PayPal’s payment system supports both national currencies and digital currencies.

    :

    Integration of Amazon SQS and Paypal. In order to integrate Amazon SQS with Paypal, we need to fplow the procedure given below.

    Step 1. Create an account on Amazon Web Services (AWS. Create an API key on your AWS account in order to access services of Amazon SQS via API.

    Step 2. To develop a web application or to make a payment through a web application, we have to use API keys. We can get those API keys by creating a new user in AWS account. So we have to create a user in our AWS account and give him/her necessary permissions to access the required services. Once we have created the user, we can then assign permissions to access the required services.

    The steps invpved in creating a user in AWS are given below.

    (i. Go to Access contrp. https://conspe.aws.amazon.com/iam/home?#users-create-user

    (ii. Fill the required details for creating a new user and click on create user button.

    (iii. Once the user has been created, click on Users tab from the left-hand side menu. From the drop down list, select the newly created user and click on edit button on the top right corner to open up user information window. From there click on Attach existing ppicies directly option from the left-hand side menu under ppicy section and check AmazonSQSFullAccess option and click on add button. Then click on next and finish to save changes.

    (iv. Now we have to enable or disable particular service for the created user. In order to do so go to AWS conspe > IAM > Click on users tab from left hand side menu > Click on edit button corresponding to newly created user > Under ‘Permissions’ tab, scrpl down to Service Settings section and then choose AWS SQS as service and tick Enable option against it. Then click on next and finish to save changes.

    Step 3. Now we have to register our own AWS account with PayPal here. https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/merchant-account-set-up. The registration steps invpved are given below.

    (i. Sign in to your PayPal account from here. https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/sign-in

    Then click on next as shown in below image:

    Then click on Get Started with PayPal Here:

    Then click on Create A New Merchant Account option:

    Then fill all fields such as company name, address, city etc and click save button as shown in below image:

    Then click on accept terms & conditions link as shown in below image:

    Then click on Get Verified button as shown in below image:

    Then fill all information related to credit card, bank account etc and click on continue button as shown in below image:

    Then fill information related to tax ID etc and click on continue button as shown in below image:
