Integration of Amazon SQS and Mautic

In this article, I will talk about the benefits of integration of Amazon SQS and Mautic.

Amazon SQS stands for Amazon Simple Queue Service. It is a service that allows you to store messages as a first-in, first-out (FIFO. queue or as a real-time feed. It is designed to be extremely cost effective and simple to use. As a result, it is perfect for customers with large vpumes of data who need to send and receive messages at high throughput and low latency.

First, we will start with the integration of Amazon SQS and Mautic. Mautic is an open source marketing automation software built with PHP Laravel Framework. The integration of Amazon SQS and Mautic helps us to improve the performance of our Mautic and makes it faster than any other marketing automation softwares available in the market.

Let’s discuss the benefits of integration of Amazon SQS and Mautic.

The first benefit is that we can easily integrate the two platforms together. Because both platforms support REST API, we don’t need to bother about the format of the data passing between them. For example, if we want to fetch content from Mautic to Amazon SQS, we just need to convert the JSON format into the URL query parameters for Amazon SQS. And vice versa. So, we can connect those two platforms and communicate with each other effortlessly.

Second, we can easily orchestrate complex workflows using Amazon SQS and Mautic together. For example, we can receive events from the webhooks and then generate an email using Mautic and send it back to Amazon SQS as a message. Then, the order created will appear on the dashboard for further inspection. Also, if we have multiple triggers or actions that are sending messages to Mautic or Amazon SQS, the orchestration would be complicated. But if we use Amazon SQS as an intermediary, these complex workflows become easier to manage.

Third, we can eliminate race conditions since Amazon SQS acts as a reliable buffer between our triggers and actions. If our triggers are generating more messages than desired, they won’t overflow our database with unnecessary data because it is being stored temporarily on Amazon SQS. If our actions are generating more emails than desired, they won’t go into our mail server if they are being stored on Amazon SQS instead of directly into Mautic. This way, not only can we eliminate race conditions but also prevent some extra costs from some unnecessary storage space.

Finally, the last benefit of integration of Amazon SQS and Mautic is that we can make it easier for us to build reports by using some analytical tops like Redshift or Presto on AWS. Since all data is stored on Amazon SQS, we can easily read it back using Redshift or Presto without having to worry about how it is structured in Mautic. This way, we can save time and money by getting rid of the necessity of building an ETL process to extract data from Mautic to another database like Redshift or Presto for reporting purposes.

In conclusion, my answer is that integration of Amazon SQS and Mautic has many benefits including improved performance of our Mautic application, reduced costs by eliminating race conditions and creating simpler workflows by using Amazon SQS as an intermediary, and faster analysis of data by using some analytical tops like Redshift or Presto on AWS without having to worry about its structure in Mautic.
