Integration of Amazon SQS and Facebook Shops

Amazon SQS

Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS. is a web service that provides developers with an interface to the Amazon Web Services (AWS. message queuing system. It is designed to handle asynchronous tasks, or messages, between different components of an application. Amazon SQS supports two distinct message queue protocps. HTTP and TCP. An application sends messages to an endpoint provided by Amazon SQS, and the service queues the messages for delivery to one or more receivers or applications that have subscribed to receive messages at that endpoint. The application does not need to be on the same network as the queue. Messages can be received from any TCP-capable host. An application submits messages to the queue by sending HTTP requests to the specified endpoint. Each message can be up to 256 KB in size, and must be UTF-8 encoded text. The application specifies the message attributes, such as time-to-live, message priority, and correlation identifiers, using additional HTTP headers. These values are stored with the message in the queue until it is retrieved by a receiver or application. Messages can also be sent directly between two parties that share a private key.
