Drip is a simple email marketing solution created by Hubspot. Drip helps small businesses stay in touch with their audience. It has many advanced features, such as a visual email builder, drip campaigns, automation workflows, detailed reports, segmentation capabilities, A/B testing, and more. Drip sends automated emails like welcome email, subscription confirmation email, sales lead follow up email, abandoned cart recovery email, thank you email etc.
The integration of Amazon SQS and Drip involves polling an SQS queue for updates on a particular event and then automatically sending out an email based on that event via Drip. For example if an order is placed in our website we can set up a trigger which will poll the Amazon SQS queue every 5 minutes for any updates regarding that order. If we get order details from the queue we can create a new campaign in Drip. Such a campaign would be an automated welcome email for new customers. If there are no updates to the order from the queue after 30 minutes we can assume that the customer has received the welcome email and unsubscribe him/her from the campaign. The same approach can be used for other events like abandoned cart recovery campaign, sales follow up campaign etc.
The process to integrate Amazon SQS and Drip may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick solution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
