A user can send notifications using Amazon SNS to other Amazon SNS users, Amazon SQS queues, or email addresses through emails or SMS messages.

This service is mainly used in order to provide a notification message to a user when an event occurs. It is also used in order to send updates about the events happening in your company.

Zoho Cliq is an email marketing top provided by Zoho Corporation. The main aim of this top is to attract new customers for your business. Using this top, you can easily create emails, organize them into groups and send them to your audience.

In this section, I will explain how Amazon SNS and Zoho Cliq can be integrated.

Amazon SNS and Zoho Cliq can be integrated with each other by using Zoho Cliq API. After integrating these two tops, you can create a simple mobile app that sends notifications to users. This mobile app is powered by Amazon SNS.

The process of integration of these two tops looks like this:

  • A user registers with Zoho Cliq and logs in to the system.
  • A customer subscribes to a newsletter from a business owner and receives the newsletter in his/her inbox.
  • After receiving a newsletter, the customer clicks on the link provided in the newsletter in order to subscribe with the business owner’s product or service.
  • After clicking on the link, an API call will be sent to Zoho Cliq. The API call contains the information about the customer such as name, email address, IP address etc. This information will be sent to Amazon SNS for further processing.
  • If this API call is successful, then Amazon SNS sends a request to Zoho Cliq for confirmation of the customer’s subscription. If the customer has subscribed to a newsletter from a business owner, then Zoho Cliq will confirm this subscription and update its database with the information of the customer. After confirmation from both sides, Amazon SNS sends a notification to Zoho Cliq about the subscription of a new customer.
  • When the new customer subscribes with Zoho Cliq, he/she will receive a confirmation email on his/her email address. After receiving this email, his/her subscription should be confirmed and he/she should start receiving newsletters from the business owner.
