Amazon S3 provides a highly available, scalable, and inexpensive data storage infrastructure for storing and serving up static and dynamic data. Amazon S3 is used extensively by companies like Netflix, Pinterest, SoundCloud, Instagram, etc.

WordPress is a free blog publishing platform that is used by millions of people worldwide. It was originally released in 2003 by its founder named as Matt Mullenweg. It runs on PHP programming language and MySQL database. It has a feature called "auto-update" that enables the system to be updated without requiring manual intervention. WordPress uses file transfer protocol (FTP. for transferring files between server and local computer. It also uses HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP. for communicating with remote servers.

First of all, we need to create a bucket in Amazon S3 system which can be done by accessing the main page at https://aws.amazon.com/s3/. On the bucket list displayed by Amazon S3, click on "Create Bucket". Then you will see a popup window asking you to fill in the details such as bucket name, region, etc. Once you have filled in the required details then click on "Create bucket".

Now we need to configure our local machine to work with Amazon S3 bucket. For this, go to your localhost and access your website at http://localhost/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=amazon_s3_integration.php. You will see a popup asking you to enter your AWS Access Key ID and AWS Secret Access Key which you can generate from your Amazon S3 account if you haven't created it already. After entering the credentials of Amazon S3 and clicking on "Save Options", you will see a notification that settings have been saved successfully. Now you are ready to upload files from your local computer to your Amazon S3 bucket using the WordPress admin area.
