The freshdesk-installer script does this. If the AWS region is set to us-east-1 (which is the default. then it will install the S3 plugin for us. This plugin is enabled by default, but it can be disabled using the “enabled” switch. This plugin can be enabled again by setting the “enabled” switch to “true”.

  • To retrieve data from an Amazon S3 bucket:

The Freshdesk REST API provides this functionality. It allows you to upload files to an Amazon S3 Bucket. This functionality is available if the plugin is enabled. You can use this functionality by making a POST request to the endpoint. http://freshdesk.com/api/v2/support_ticket/s3_upload_file/.
